We went to Boma one Thanksgiving. It was very nice.
I bet you can ask on the Restaurant boards about Christmas menus.

was the menu the same, or a tad different for Thanksgiving? I may be in WDW this T-day :) I had a CM tell me that 1900 Park Fare did offer a slight menu change

Ok heres my must do's so far, staying at AKL.
Boma, Yachtsman, lecellier. Fultons is looking good but don't know if I want to do 2 nights in DTD :confused3
How about a nice sit down and a place to watch fireworks :cloud9:

Bomb, I have sinned, she cut my hair into a BOB :scared:

I would say California Grill, I have not eaten there yet, maybe on my next solo trip........I can not say anything about the food, but would have fireworks! :)

Debs, I have only eaten there the one time. I *think* there were a few more 'thanksgivingy' foods, but for the most part it was probably the same.

CA grill is FANTASTIC! We are going there on this upcoming trip again.

Mama Becky, you can start planning the Princess' first trip.

sorry..... BD and I:rotfl: :rotfl:

I forgot...ya'll don't know my DH as Joe
What's BD?

Yachtsmans Steakhouse
Brown and Derby
Boma
Ohana(but have not been in a few yrs with all the menu changes)
Kona (my new choice over Ohana and love it!)
Tangerine Cafe(counter service in Mexico) very filling
Beaches and Cream

That's the Morocco counter service, isn't it? If so we love it...little guys favorite place, but he loves Mediterranean type food. :thumbsup2

50's Prime Time is a must do each trip, but more for the place than the food.

Hello all~

Angel ...I really liked Coral Reef when we went and I like Ohana.

We are trying Le Cellier for the first time on our anniversary trip and Boma in June.

Hello all!

I've had a lazy day after church and food shopping.

I've been reading all day. Pretty soon I have to get my butt in hear and start dinner, so I wanted to check in and say hi.

Angel, you listed several of my favs....I love Boma, I really liked 1900 Park Fare...thought the food was good. I don't like any of the seafood places...Fultons or Cape May....that's mostly because I'm spoiled and eat really good seafood all the time. I also liked the Concorse Steakhouse. I went to Regalan Road in DTD last time and it was really good. I also did the cuban place and it was excellent.

but you have Princess Coca Cola!

:rotfl: That's true. I do. :goodvibes

No, Deb- no trips planned this year. We're still digging out of the hole financially from my pregnancy. But, we're getting there!

And, we decided to use our tax returns to pay off debt and get savings in order. Boo. Responsibility sucks. :headache:

But, we'll be better off for it. PLUS, DH just applied to go back to school!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: I am SO proud of him. He's going for a 2nd bachelor's right now, in the hopes that it will make him more marketable in his field, and then later (when he hopefully can afford it), he'll go for his master's. It's going to be a juggling act, for sure, but it'll be worth it.

I'm still going to talk him into a trip next year, I think. Maybe next December, during the value season- I sooo want to see WDW all decked out for Christmas! :santa:

Bmom- I think I am going to start planning for December 09. V will be almost 3 then, and it seems like a good age to go... Yes? Maybe?

My kitchen stinks, BTW. I just cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, and cauliflower. :crazy2: Not all together, but still. Blech.

Just be sure to go BEFORE she's three...then she's free.
