Thanks, Auntie.

Oh Tig, that's so sad. Poor little baby.

I don't think I've seen her anywhere for quite awhile :confused3

Thanks for the hugs. I just wish I knew how to help her be not so miserable. I'm hoping the counseling will help her be able to understand some of her emotions and feelings. I'm going to start tracking the outbursts and see if there is any pattern to them. I know it really affects Kathryn when Alana gets mad. She can just be so defiant, argumentative, moody, etc. I know part of it is just being a teenager, but she has such mood swings.

Congrats on the milestone, Auntie! Loved the pooch!

Tig, do the guys get tired of having the games end from the mercy rule? i remember it happened quite a bit last year. That is so sad about the baby. SIDS is such a terrible thing.

WOO HOO for Nutty and Lara! Just mere days now!

Teva, glad your sons O2 levels are up some. Maybe you'll have to tie him to a chair!
How's Andrews cheek?

Caro, the outbursts do affect the whole family. Ben has been in a mood all afternoon. I returned home from Zach's game to find him sleeping on the couch. He got mad at me for not letting him sleep, but he then wouldn't be able to go to sleep tonight since it was almost 6PM. To top it all off he had to go babysit 10 minutes later and he hadn't eating. Said he wasn't hungry, but then started devouring food. But he was still mad at me. Blames his mood on his meds, which could be partially true.

Caro, I'd forgotten that there were a lot of mercy rule games last season. :rotfl: As long as they are on the winning end of it I don't know that they'd care. It makes for kind of a boring game for us, though.

IM- love the puppy panties

Teva- I'm glad to hear that your son is improving...make sure he rests.

Caro- Sometimes it's hard being a parent

Nutty-:woohoo:

Lara:dance3:

Tig - That is so sad:sad1: and what's a mercy rule:confused3

Welcome home Angel:hug:

Caro, I always say that I truly did not like my daughter between the ages of 13 and 17. I loved her but I didn't like her. She was a witch. Hang in there.

Andrew's cheek is bruised and you can see the outline of the sprocket that he fell on but it doesn't look too bad.

I hear a storm in the hills, can be along night

Pixie, a mercy rule is when one team is ahead by so much that the game ends early. Otherwise known as the slaughter rule.

I am so garlicy....had pita bread, hummus, and tsadiki (sp?) for dinner tonight. Good, but I'm not liking the aftertaste. :rotfl:

What the hell is tsadiki? Sounds like a natural disaster.

is a tsadiki like a mini tsunami?

Hi all....
since we are sharing about kiddos getting hurt my 4yo decided to climb my dogwood yesterday evening was getting down and scraped herself from waist to armpit...poor thing. She was sore and crying when she got up this morning but is outside playing now like nothing is wrong. But you let me get on to her one time and " her side is hurting "

Ouch, Teo! The poor baby! :sad1:

She's gonna milk that one.

Tsadaki, or however the heck it's spelled, is a greek yogurt/sour cream (not sure which, maybe both), garlic, cucumber dip. Had it with pita bread.

Ouch teo!
