Good morning.

I'm taking my mother to Philly today to see her brother. He has lung cancer and she wants to see him before it's too late. Poor guy has been going through chemo and just had to have his gall bladder out a couple days ago. Talk about smacking you when you're down.

Angel, try to let it go. It just isn't worth it.

I hope they have a good visit.

it's 36 degrees with a dusting of snow here. Not quite beautiful. Besides church and buying Alana a new watch, nothing real exciting planned.

Yep, the sun is shining...although it is freaking cold....DH and I are talking about our anniversary trip to see what we want to do.

we've started thinking about our christmas trip!

Never made it there. Right after I posted, Kate (my daughter-in-law) called. She's in West Virginia with her parents visiting relatives. She said that Joey (my son) was having problems breathing and asked me to check on him. He has asthma and has a respiratory infection.

Anyway, I went over and he's in pretty bad shape. The same thing happened two years ago and he wound up in the hospital for 5 days. I had to convince him to let me take him to Urgent Care. They gave him another shot of steroids (he was just at the doctor's yesterday) and an hour long breathing treatment. Said he should be in the hospital but that he can do the same things at home that they'll do so they sent him home but if he can't break it he'll have to go up to the hospital.

Kate's on her way home but I don't want to leave him until she gets here.He can't even walk a couple of feet without becoming extremely short of breath. It's scary.

Of course, he's insisting he's a big boy now and his 'mommy' doesn't have to stay with him. True, but I wouldn't even leave my husband alone in this condition.

So, I guess it'll be next weekend now before I can get my mom up to see her brother. Maybe I'll take off a day during the week and take her.

I've never been at a Sandals. It sounds so nice.

2 1/2 more weeks of tax season. I'm getting excited, and feeling good, got about 12 hours of sleep last night. I have to keep my energy up, the next 2 weeks will be killers.
