I am! But I'm a little annoyed with the rep I just spoke to from Sandals - I'm waiting for a confirmation that my package was updated and she was supposed to email it to me right away. I've been waiting for the email since Thursday and they haven't sent it yet. Grr.

Nutty - Dh and I went to Sandals a few years ago. We had an AMAZING trip. Which one are you going to?

Sandals Royal Bahamian. And I just upgraded us the other day for the Honeymoon Suite with an Ocean View. I'm so excited! I didn't even tell DH yet - it's going to be a surprise.

That is where we went! I will find some pics to post for you! We had an amazing ocean view room (had a separate living area) and we were picked up from the airport by their Rolls Royce. It was great!

DH and I have been thinking of a Sandals trip. Any information you would like to give would be appreciated.

They offer great specials, Pixie. Right now they have a 50% promotion going on. I booked next weeks trip on a 40% off promo and I paid $2800 (including the room upgrade from the other day) for 4 nights at Sandals Royal Bahamian. We're staying in the Honeymoon suite which comes with concierge service, a butler, fully stocked mini-bar daily, 24 hour room service and either a patio or a balcony. The room looks amazing just from the floor plan on the website.

I don't really have much information beyond that, but I'd be happy to let you know what we thought of it after we come back.

Pop- It was a really great trip. I think we only stayed for 4 nights (my little one was still only a year and a half) and we mostly laid by the pool. We did take a snorkeling trip one day (included) and my DH would go ocean kayaking in the early morning. We took one day trip into Nassau and would probably not do that again. The food was really and the drinks were better . The only thing that was a pain were the "pool float hoggers". You know, the people that get up at 7:00 to grab a pool float and then keep it with them all day . This one woman would literally grab her two pool floats and put them under her chair when she got out of the pool. Most people would leave them behind, but not her! Old hag of a woman...anyhow...I digress.

The vacation was completely relaxing and that is why we chose Sandals. We did a lot of sleeping, reading and other recreational activities . I did some spa treatments (facial, mud bath and couple's massage). We went in the summer and it was definintely HOT! Although, it was a much cheaper time to go. The grounds are beautiful.

Oh yeah, the room not only has a "mini-bar" but a fully stocked bar! There were full bottles of rum, vodka, gin, etc. sitting in the room.

Good Morning! I've been up awhile, IM'd with Kelly and Andrew, brought Alana up to church for youth service and stopped at McDonalds for breakfast for Kathryn and I. Haven't I been busy already!

It's also all-inclusive, so we don't have to worry about bringing extra money for food. That was a big seller for me.
