Adventures Down Under take on the World!!!

Hi Jess :)

It's almost time!! What a wonderful trip you have planned. I'm so excited for you. And your experience as a CM sounds so neat :)

I lived in Alice Springs for 3 years (2003-2006) and we visited Sydney for a few days. I adore Australia and really, really miss it.

Alice Springs for 3 years :scared1: :scared1:
I couldn't imagine spending that much time there. HOT HOT HOT:cool2:

Mind you I have never been to Alice Springs, it's funny I live in OZ and haven't been to Alice Springs/Ayers Rock ever, yet I have travelled the world, lived in New York:confused:

I wonder if Jess has visited Alice Springs.
Glad you liked OZ, it is a beautiful country and we would love you to come back again soon:thumbsup2 Wouldn't we Jess;)

Jess and I have become friends after meeting on the Dis and I can say that girl loves   Disney and the States, thanks for having us, we are both really looking forward to visiting your wonderful country again.:yay:

It's funny because I met so many Aussies who had never been to Alice Springs or Uluru (we went once) or Western Australia either. I loved Western Australia.

Alice Springs was wonderful in the winter (although, you can't really call THAT winter ;)). June - August was my favorite. The flies were gone, the nights/mornings were chilly, but the days were lovely. I loved the small town feeling. I'd move back in a heartbeat though. I was homesick for the Alice for a year after moving back.

Yes I am one of those Aussies that haven't been to Western Australia either, I would love to go, but I just don't seem to find the time, it seems a long way away. Doesn't make sense:rolleyes: Once my kids are older, we are planning on doing a big trip around Oz, without them:woohoo:
I have probably seen more of the US than I have of OZ.

Sorry Jess,:offtopic: Hope you don't mind.:flower3:

How long will it take you to get to Florida?

well it is 3 hours to New Zealand... 2 hour stop over......12 hourts to Los Angeles. we opted to stya at the airport the night instead of waiting the 8 hour stop over at the airport... then we fly from LA to Orlando the next morning (5 hours)..

all up i think it is 20 hours flying time and pretty much 2 days travelling time.

DOes that account for the time zone changes too? That is a long time in the air. I hope you have first class seats. Oh well, I guess Disney is worth it though. Have a great trip. Now go night night and get some rest

Hi Everyone!!!

Well I made it! (well to Orlando that is)I am currently in Orlando and we are goiing to Islands of Adventure today.

Had a very long 2 days of flying and had a great night in LAX. We went to the Disney Soda FOuntain Store in LAX!!! I loved it.

The weather is in the low 80's and i am waiting for murray to get up!

I am so excited:banana:

Well i am home safe and sound. The trip was everything i imagine and more. We had a truely magical time. Now i am panicing how to write this TR:rotfl2:

Disneyworld was so much fun. 10 days was definately not enough time. The disney wonder was amazing and far more than i imagine. It was amazing.I loved every minute of it and wish it was longer.

Disneyland was fun, i only wish we had more than 2 days. Disneyland is definately a better park than the Magic Kingdom.

ALL the meals (TS and CS) we had were amazing:yay: :yay: Thanks for all the great advice. Le Cellier was the best meal of the trip!!!

talk soon, I cant wait to share all of my experiences with you!
Jess

Glad you got back in one piece. I was thinking of you and wondering how the trip went. Just tell us every thing you did every day. :happytv:
