Picture a stuffy sportsman's club for wealthy globetrotters, circa 1930 or so. Extravagent trophies, pictures, mounted game animals covering the walls. You circulate among the members who interact with you and present shows in the library, mask room and another display room that escapes my memory. You're there to be inducted into the club and to experience the talking animal heads and the Colonel, a mounted marionette done up as a British army officer. The library hosts 3 or 4 different 20 min. shows a night, all a real hoot. You don't have to join any shows if you just want to hang out in the main room by the bar and watch and talk with the cast. We love it. I usually hit the first show at the Comedy Warehouse then go right to the AC and spend the whole night there.
There are mixed opinions on this, but the comedy is no more adult than an average Drew Carey episode so I've taken my 3 children, then in their teens, to the AC. Over the years I've gotten to know some of the cast members and look forward to seeing them each visit. I'm sure someone will put up a link or two with pics, below is one of my daughters with Hathaway Brown, the club Lothario. Enjoy yourself!
