I have no idea where to post this, so if a moderator thinks it would be better elsewhere, I would appreciate it if they could move it for me! Thanks!

Has anybody travelled with Adventures by Disney before? I'm looking at their Oahu and Hawaii trip for next year. If anybody has any views or information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

:wizard:

I also would like info on Adventures by Disney..... :moped:

Isn't it about time we got an Adventures by Disney forum? These posts are scattered everywhere since no one is quite sure where to put them. I've seen them in Theme Parks, Budget Boards, Community Boards... It would be super cool to have them all in one easy place. :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Thanks!!

Bumping this - I'd be interested to hear if anyone has done any of these trips. I have the brochure, and the trips look fabulous (though very expensive.)

You might want to try posting this on one of the vacation club forums. I know you can use DVC points for Disney Adventures so maybe one of the DVC members has done this?

We are interested in the Ireland one for 2007. I would love some information on these trips also.

To the OP - I'm not sure the Hawaii trips are being offered in 2007, as I don't recall seeing them on the list of 2007 intineraries on the website. But, I could be wrong.

I did travel with AbD back in May on the "Land of Eternal Knights" trip to London & Paris. It was absolutely wonderful! I had never traveled overseas before and this was the best possible way I could have done it. Everything is attended to, there are a multitude of special "Disney" style surprises and extras, and everyone is extremely friendly. I made a few lasting friendships on the tour and a few of us are planning to do one of the new AbD Italy trips together next year. :sunny:

The only thing I would have liked is a little more free time on my own, but that's not a major complaint. I had an afternoon/evening in London, but it was a Sunday, so everything closed early and it made it tricky to fit in what I wanted to do (a visit to Maritime Greenwich). The free time in Paris worked a little better, just because I wasn't so focused on getting something in particular done and was able to take it easy.

We hit all the major landmarks in both cities and had some great experiences that I wouldn't have taken the time for if traveling on my own. In each city, we had a local guide, who gave us interesting and entertaining information about each place we visited and sites along the way. Meals were great and the vast majority were included. The hotels were first class (far better than I would have booked on my own). All in all, I felt the trip was absolutely worth the price.

I had a great time on the trip and I'm looking very forward to traveling with AbD again soon. I'd definitely recommend them! :thumbsup2

Thank you for your replies everyone, and a big thanks to Magix for your trip overview.

You are correct - I just called AbD and they said that the Hawaii trip won't be offered beyond January 7th next year. :( We were hoping to do it during Spring Break and the idea of having Disney arrange the itinerary was wonderful. However, the CM I spoke with did say that there would be eight new adventures for 2007 and that they would be added to the website shortly :)
