Adventures by Disney or Med. Cruise

My DH says "pick one and book it." Wow! What a man!

Now, the problem is that I have a "choice". You're not supposed to give women like me a "choice."

Which one would my fellow board members choose?

a. 10 or 11 day Med cruise in 2007
b. Hawaii through Adventures by Disney in 2007

How many points do you think these activities will suck up? I already have 300 banked and 300 more coming in August of 2006. Plus, if I stick with the summer of 2007, I think I can borrow from August of 2007.

(I should never have bought those darn points. Now, I spent countless hours pondering how to use them. )

Wow, that is great! He is definitely the best. A keeper. Now back to the question at hand. Med or Hawaii. Both would be great.

I would choose the Med. You could combine this with a trip to Disneyland Paris. Unless of course, you have made other trips to Europe. Then maybe a trip to Hawaii. Good Luck choosing.

a. before August 2007 (your banked pts will expire by 7/31/07), DCL Med will run you 340-367 pts per person for Cat.11.

b. Hawaii Adventures will run you about 416 per person.
(I should never have bought those darn points. Now, I spent countless hours pondering how to use them. )

Overall, the cruise will be a little less points and more days but the excursions will be extra. Take the comparision of airfare into your consideration too.

Children will increase the points

Just called today about the Med cruise in '07!! Great minds think alike!
10 night cruise is 340 pts. pp with kids at 193.
I don't think I would do the Adventure Hawaii. Looking over the itinerary it doesn't seem that "special". Nothing that you couldn't book on your own. We love the idea of the Adventure Costa Rica and when DS is just a wee bit older, we will definitely consider.

I'd do the Med. cruise. Could be a "once in a lifetime" to do it on a Disney boat, where Hawaii can be booked on your own -- probably cheaper -- through other companies. I'd also combine it with a few days at DL Paris -- we LOVE it there!!! Have been twice and will definitely go back in a few years.
