The guy who originally did "yeah toast" was Heywood Banks, and he is an outstanding comic. If you ever get a chance to see him, do it. He's too funny.
My wife and I have gone to AC quite a few times in the last 10 years and have seen quite a few cast changes. One year we went to see the HDD and the character of Six Bits was the Boy Scout Troup leader from Sandusky, Ohio in the Adventurer of the Year contest in the Library the next year. I guess I thought of it as any company where someone does a job for a while and then it gets stale so they look for a new challenge. We've always had our favorites of the characters, but they've all been good.
