Advantages to Booking Flight with Disney?

I called today to add Dining to our Room only reservation and was asked if I wanted to add flights as well. The quoted price was the EXACT price that I have been finding everywhere for about 2 weeks now ($1299 for our family of four from Omaha to MCO non-stop round trip or $324 a piece). What would be the advantage of booking with Disney at this rate?

Like everyone I am not sure if I should take this rate as our trip isn't until October but with gas prices going up, not sure I should risk not booking it.

If it's the same price, I can't think of any advantage. I can think of a disadvantage - Disney is in control of your reservation, not you. So if there are time changes or the rate goes down, you will not be able to call the airline directly.

The price Disney is offering would have to be a substantial savings for me to ever consider booking my air through them. My preference is to book airfare directly with the carrier as it makes it easier if you need to make adjustments due to schedule changes, etc.

Just so you know when you book your airfare through Disney you get a separate confirmation number from the airline. Then you have complete control and can contact the airline and even choose seats online.

In 2009 I booked my LAX-MCO rtn airfare with Disney because they gave me the best price! I had no problems with the booking, and as a previous poster said they gave me the airline booking code and I was able to log onto the Delta website and manage the booking/book my seats etc. No problems
I've not done it again because I fly Qantas and the last 2 years they have been offering a deep discount on the AA flight - this year $10 rtn DFW-MCO!
