I just booked a car for 8 days with taxes and fees for $132. Is this too good to be true? Anyone have any experience with them at MCO?

That certainly is a great rate. Advantage was brought out of bankruptcy by Hertz, wasn't it?

That is what I read, so you would hope their service is okay. I only needed a car for two days, but renting on property at DW and returning to mco was going to cost $150 for 2 days! Having a car for 8 is a better deal and will help with our DT Disney and water park trips. However I will miss the magical express this time around!

Hi - we wondered the same thing since the price is great. Are you able to elect your own car? Have tried looking for this information, without success. Thanks.

I went direct to their website for advantage and used the rate code AAA to get the rate that includes taxes. I did call and make sure they didn't have any scams with the fuel/etc. and everything was normal as with other companies. I was ripped off in Jan in Las Vegas by Dollar and called the Advantage direct to Orlando to make sure there was no catch. I certainly do not want any headaches when we arrive, as I will be missing my ME express.

Advantage came up with the best rate for my vaca as well, I have not used them before.:surfweb:

I'm also wondering if anyone's had any experience with this company in MCO. This sounds like a great deal!!

I hope someone replys that has had a recent experience. hint hint:)

Advantage RAC is Hertz's off-price brand - you're renting a Hertz car under a different company name but it is a name brand company, not a local/Orlando-only brand. Good luck!

Thanks for this info. There are bad reviews about the shuttle service in particular that I would like to hear about. Tripadvisor was the source but they are older reviews 2009. They said there were long shuttle and counter lines taking 45min to 2 hours:scared1: for a rental. If that is the case now I do have a backup ressie with an onsite company, do not want to waste that kind of time. Hoping to find out if it is any better.

If you are unsure of this company, I just booked an 8 day with alamo for $84! Yes I said $84 dollar with Alamo. By joining their Insiders club which is free and using my Insiders ID + the Insiders Corp Id of 7015820 + the $40 off coupon.

** when checking with Alamo since your trip is 88 days away you probably won't get as good of a deal. I did not find this rate until about 10 before my trip so keep checking with Alamo

Thank you so much for this infor :woohoo: I just switched to Alamo and booked a full size rental for 8 days with taxes/fees for $114! Before I was just getting the smallest car they had. I love saving money and feel more comfortable with Alamo. It appears we can just use the kiosk, pick out our car and get to Disney quite quickly. Thanks again :goodvibes

What dates? that is so cheap! I'm not geting that end of june or even close
to that! :rotfl:
