OK here's why I love staying at the Poly.
I love getting the castle view and falling asleep late at night long after the MK has closed with the shades wide open and watching the castle change colors.
I love coming home after a day in the parks and having the torches lit and the soft Polynesian music playing.
I love having a tiki drink in the middle of the afternoon and then having my bed 2 minutes away for a little tiki nap.
I love getting up early and having my coffee on the beach.
I love walking to the TTC on the path from the Poly when I want to get to the monorail.
I love the rooms - they are huge. When there are a bunch of us we are still really comfy.
I love the use of the health club. It's a really nice one, and I love walking past the wedding chapel to get to it. I also love the walk to the Grand Floridian with the lake to one side and the monorail to the other.
I just love the location period. I love hearing the train whistle and the shows from the beach.
Now, visitors can experience most of it, but not all the time. I like that it's my base, my home for the week.
