I'm still holding out for the free dining to book the dining plan, but do I need to make ADR's anyway? Going for 8 days in Sept w/ 4 yr old son, and I wasn't going to make ADRs since with my luck, we'll have an ADR & he'll be out cold asleep! Can we still go to TS restaurants without a res?:wizard:

Yes, I would make ADR's especially if they offer free dining. We have always made them in advance and never had a problem. However, I've heard of people trying to just walk up and get in to restaurants and not being able to get in.

Do you know if there would be a charge if I had to cancel or didn't show up? I know they do that with some character meals, but how about regular TS?

I would definitely make ADRs! Especially with a chance of free dining again during your dates! We went during the free Dining Plan promotion 2 years in a row now and it seemed every place was booked and people were being turned away left & right, more so in 2006 in comparison to 2005-I figured it was due to more people finding out about & taking advantage of the promotion. Therefore, I can only imagine what it could be like next time it is offered! :scared1:

Only dinner shows, signature dining, fantasmic dinner pkg require a cc to book and are charged if not canceled within like 48 hrs. Everything else you can just cancel even last minute if you have to.

If there are any must do's for your family, I would make ADR's for those restaurants. If a sleeping child is a concern, try making early lunch rather than dinner ADR's.
