Adults going to MNSSHP; Are you going in costume? Share your pics here

I think the official answer is no, but I guess it depends on the costume. Cat ear headband and tail--probably fine. Life-size Sta-Puft man--probably not . You could always rent a locker for your costume and change into it between 4-7. Just make sure to get your wristband before you go into a bathroom to change if you wait til close to 7:00--they even look in there for non-party-ticket holders! LOL

I am hoping they are lax with this on halloween. My a&e fastpass is at 2:40/3:40 which means having to probably getting to the park at 3.

For those who have worn wigs with their costumes, have you had any trouble with them staying on during rides like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain? I'm debating on whether or not to wear a wig with my Rapunzel Disneybound costume, but I don't want to worry about possibly losing it on a ride like those since my experiences with wigs in the last 10-ish years have never involved roller coasters and all that.

If it is Rapunzel, could you secure it to your shirt shoulder like the park Rapunzel does? At least that way, it wouldn't go far! I wore Minnie ears on splash, which are usually tighter and really secure, but I felt like I almost lost them and grabbed them in time.

I could probably do that, but my biggest problem is more or less securing it to my head better so it doesn't fly off. Maybe I'll just forget about the wig and just braid my hair because I feel like this is going to be a big problem and a huge pain in the butt.

Here are a couple suggestions if you are still wanting to go with the wig or the Rapunzel hair style. You can always braid your hair and wear the wig on top. If you are going to the Rapunzel meet and greet wear the wig for it and have you picture taken. You can also get some other pictures in the wig at other places in MK. Then you can rent a locker and put the wig in the locker for the rides. You will still have your hair braided underneath.
Plan B which is what I did when I Disney Bound for Elsa is to get hair extentions. They just clip in your real hair and then you can braid them in with your real hair. They are very sucure especially when braided in.

I've been debating between Alice (I have that costume) and Rapunzel, but DFi wants to do a couples costume so we're going to Disneybound Punzie and Flynn since commissioning them would just be too expensive. I like the idea of not doing any fast rides! We're going to be at Disney for a week n' a half and will have plenty of time at MK so not doing the few of 'em during MNSSHP wouldn't hurt us! Absolutely! Having fun is what it's all about! And thank you so very much!

Yep! We've entered at 2pm in full costume before (with a regular park ticket, of course).

Was this on halloween or anyday that they let you in early, I'm having to enter early on halloween (bout 3pm) due to there being no way to control when you can get an A&E FP. Am worried they won't let me in since it will be an all adult party.

You need to keep your ear to the ground to see how they are handling the A/E line when you get there. They are doing a test again this week where they are handing out return times for the entire day first thing in the morning. I'd hate for you to show up at 3 and find the line closed for the day. Although you do still have the option of waiting during the party, it would be nice to do it earlier if possible since they aren't any different at the party.

I'll be there that night! Look for Gamora and Star Lord. I can't wait to see Olaf costumes, I'm interested in how people will be doing that. I'm doing an Olaf for the TOT 10 mile run, but that is just white shorts, white tutu, white shirt with buttons and a running hat with an Olaf face.

If you see another Gamora, with a tween Mystique and a short Captain America, say hi!!!! I spent way more than I meant to on makeup, but I intend for it to stay on!! LOL. Good luck at ToT--it was miserably hot when I did it, but I loved the swag and the midnight finish enough to make it worth it!!
