Adults going to MNSSHP; Are you going in costume? Share your pics here

No pictures, but DH and I will be going as Pinocchio's Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket. No sewing for me. Purchasing a homecoming dress in ice blue, DM is shortening it and using extra chiffon to make draping sleeves, buying wings and a wand. DH's costume of tux jacket with tails, mustard vest, yellow tie, with green khaki pants and a red umbrella--all from Amazon. I WILL however be sewing large yellow buttons on back of his jacket and making a official conscience badge. That's the extent of my sewing ability.

Here's my costume. Unfortunately, the camera on my tablet stinks and can't use my phone for a full pic by myself. :(

Just finished making our Halloween costumes. Going as Johnny Fedora & Alice Blue Bonnet! I'm hoping at least a few people know who we are!

I know who they are. Love it! :thumbsup2

I think you did a great job on them.

Anyone who doesn't know who they are, check out the movie Make Mine Music

No turning back now. DH and I will be going as Jiminy Cricket and the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. No sewing for me. Everything ordered from Amazon. DH has tux jacket with tail, mustard vest, yellow scarf, white gloves, light blue top hat and red umbrella--I will sew 2 big yellow buttons on the back of his jacket. Me, I'll be in a ice blue formal dress with lots of sparkle (short for the heat), white wings, glitter ballet flats and a magic wand.

Hubby and I are going as Burt the chimney sweep and Mary Poppins. I've got all his stuff but am sewing on mine this week. Will post pics later!

That sounds awesome! Can't wait to see!! I wish I could sew like that!:thumbsup2

My DH will not be wearing a costume (I am just glad he wants to go!), but I will be in semi costume as Stitch. I have a black and blue tutu over black leggings, a stitch tank top, and I will be doing blue streaks in my hair. I also hope to find a stitch hat or stitch ears in Downtown Disney the day before to complete the look.

Sounds perfect

Going on 8/26 with my sister! She is not going in costume but bought one of the Glow in the dark Halloween shirts and will have glow lipstick! Fun!!

I was torn between going as Marie or Minnie (two of my favorite ladies) and decided on Minnie when my future mother in law got me a Minnie purse that has a sequined bow on it that matches my sequin ears perfectly!! I bought this dress:

and will be wearing red converse, and leggings with it!! I'm so excited!!

The best part is that the dress is an investment and I can wear it during my internship next semester with a little less Disney and it'll be great!!

I'll have to get a photo - I am basically "DisneyBounding" as Minnie Mouse/Boho Minnie.

I have a coral and white polkadot maxi skirt, and ginormous matching bow, big yellow accessories (bow belt and beads). I am not sure about the shoes, especially since no one can see them. I'm leaning toward flip flops! And the shirt - I still don't know! Maybe plain black?

But I DO know I will be trashing the skirt/shirt afterward for an "Adults only" Halloween party we go to every year. I will be "Zombie Minnie." Without getting too graphic, think one ear and lots of theatrical makeup.

AND for our kids friendly party we host, I have a red robe and sorcerer hat - I was going to wear it in the parks, but in my experience, the first week of October is just too miserable for a big red robe! So I'll wear it later at home - Maybe Sorcerer Mickey can figure out how to fix Zombie Minnie! :)

Halloween sounds so fun around yours!

I just dropped the fabric off and had my measurements taken for my Wendy costume! My mom's friend is making it for me. I'm excited!

I let DS10 pick our theme this year, so we are going as Marvel characters. He's Captain America, DS13 will be Mystique (if I don't flung myself off the roof before I finish it LOL), and I'll be Gamora. Please don't let it be 100 degrees on party day this year!!!

Anybody have any ideas on a great place in MK for us to get a group pic?? Wishing we could get one with the Avenger-rail in the background. Somewhere in Tomorrowland maybe??

We have friends that are into Halloween. "Into" doesn't even begin to describe it! She begins decorating in September! She has 2 parties and they are always a different "theme." This year it's Zombies for the adults.

This year's costume! I have worn this before and had some great reactions, especially from CMs. Alexander Nitrokoff from the Haunted Mansion portraits.
