Adult from kids menu-San Angel/La Hacienda

My DS21 is VERY picky. Loves Mexican food (not gourmet, just tacos/nachos). If we would choose either of the above, would he be able to order the tacos from the kids menus which I see at both of these places? Has anyone done this?

Not done it at WDW but try calling the dinning line and see if they can help.
I have done it in restaurants elsewhere and never had a problem but the portions are still kids size.

In June we ate at San Angel Inn and my DD10 was not allowed to order off the kids menu there.They did say they could alter adult menu items to make something she liked,like adding no sauce to the steak(which is what she ate),or making the chicken enchiladas with cheese instead.I don't know about Hacienda,we have never been there.Good luck,and have a great trip!
