Hi all,

I'm in the middle of planning an adults only trip (about 8 of us aged between 25-30), and finally convinced them all that we could do WDW for 8 nights (we're coming from Australia and also going to LA, Disneyland, and Vegas). The trip will be Dec 09.

I just read that PI was closing down - that was one of my main selling points to convince them to add WDW onto the trip!

Could I get some suggestions for some more "adult" activities?

So far I have:
Jellyrolls
Drinking around the world showcase at Epcot

It remains to be seen what PI is going to become... there may be something interesting there by the time your trip comes around.

I also suggest a run of the bars in the hotels on the monorail. Spend some time at the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary. None of their bars are GREAT, but it's kind of relaxing to wander through the different themed hotels while getting drunk.

Finally, I'd also take a trip to Universal's Citywalk. That should be a great drinking night.

Where are you staying? There are some great bars at the various hotels. Also, don't forget the Swan & Dolphin which are just a short boat ride. I took my 'non-Disney' friend to dinner/drinks one night at Todd English's restaurant which is very hip. She was very impressed with the place. Take a look at the website to get an idea.

Dont forget about Universal's Boardwalk. It is actually alot better than Pleasure Island. Look up the website and you can get all the info. :surfweb:
