On the first day you can book ADR's can you book a few days like WDW or is it 1 day at a time? For example we can start to book our ADR's on Memorial Day for our 7/28 arrival. to book the 29th will we have to wait until the next day to book it?

TIA we a first timers.

One day at a time ... very annoying ... just went through this ourselves for our first time visit.

That really is awful. My wife and I are both home because of Memorial Day and we each were going to work on the harder ADR's to get to give us a better chance. The 3 we want is Lamplighter, Blue Bayou and Olga's and our arrival day we aren't going to a park so we can't try to get one of those 3. Now she'll have to try at opening by herself.

Thank you for the quick reply.

No worries - it was an eye-opener from the WDW system that I was used too ... We are within our 60 day window - going June 6-8th - we did get Napa Rose, Blue Bayou, Lamp Light Lounge (Lunch) and Carthay for Dinner. I didn't encounter unavailability but times were definitely limited each morning when I checked. It does force you to focus on where and when for your itinerary - fortunately - its only two parks - so it makes it a little "easier" I guess

And don't assume they always drop at 6 a.m. Pacific, either. They can drop three hours earlier -- or several days later.
If you miss the first time around, you can sign up with a service that texts you when there's an opening that meets your needs.
And if you're staying on property, Disney reportedly reserves some timeslots for hotel guests (although I haven't tried that tactic yet myself).

Yes, you need to do them one day at a time. Don't worry if you don't get something, people often drop reservations and you might be able to pick one up before your trip.

Oga's has a walk-up list so you could do that on your park day if you don't get that reservation.

You could also set up a dining alert.

As goofy1954 mentioned, hotel guests have often been able to start reserving earlier than 6am PST. I'm staying at the Grand Californian in May, and when I booked ADRs for our trip, reservations opened up for me at 5:40am PST instead of 6. I was able to get everything I wanted that way.

Of the 3 you mentioned, Oga's will most likely book up first, followed by Blue Bayou and then Lamplight Lounge. So I'd try for Oga's first. Sometimes I use my computer and my phone to book two ADRs at the same time.

Thank you everyone. We are from Rhode Island and have always gone to WDW but I've always wanted to see DL and we are staying at the GCH. So we will look at being able to book early.

Just FYI - we are staying at the DLH in June and ADRs opened for me at 6 am EASTERN time. I can't guarantee it will work for you, but all three days I could book at 6 am Eastern. We are on the East coast, so it wasn't really getting up early for me.

We're staying at the DLH starting tomorrow, and I had the same experience when I made ADRs in February: everything dropping at 3 a.m. Pacific -- except Blue Bayou, which was a couple of days late.
Others have reported different experiences, but the point is to be prepared for anything.
