ADR's

Im sure this has been asked before at some point but just wanted to check about ADR's. We are due to start booking our's this Friday but wanted to check when we could do it. I know the US its 7.00am ET 180 days out. Does this mean we start at midday 180 days out or can we start earlier in the day.
Sorry if silly question but never booked ADR before on other trips as didnt eat much in WDW but this year got the DDP

We were able to book just after 12 noon on our 180 day. Not exactly on 12 noon but within 10 minutes. Same with fastpasses.

We did ours a couple of weeks ago, tried the website at 11am on the dot & couldn't get it to work, tried calling & got a message to say that they couldn't handle ADR's, tried the APP & it worked straight away.

It's 6am Eastern, so 11am UK time.

Both Website and App should work - I always start with getting the hard to get restaurants towards the end of my stay

thanks jon84 I thought it was 7ET so would have lost an hour and missed ADR's im sure

The app and website worked fine for us we still received confirmation emails with the booking reference numbers for each one. Make sure you have your credit card handy to book the ones that you really want to do. They only take a payment if you fail to cancel 24 hours in advance or you don't get there. Some locations will ask for payment in advance for instance we have booked Brunch at the Cali Grill one Sunday and it isn't covered by our Disney Dining Plan since it's a special meal.

who do ADRs over the phone?
it's sooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier online.
i had to do a few on the phone that weren't available online and it was such a pain in the derriere...

I've been trying to get dining reservations for December, but they are saying no slots available already!! I don't know how that is possible. Even exactly 180 days from today most of the restaurants I want (like Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana), there are no times left for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I think it has to do with some sort of revamp of their website that they did last Friday I believe.

that can also happen when the system is down..
which is what happened to me..
it said nothing was available, instead of saying the system wasn't working right..

I've only done it for CRT, Hoop De Doop etc when on the Dining Plan, it makes sure they take your Credits rather than your money!!

i called for CRT as well, but the CM told me i could have done it online, the moment it sees you have the dining plan, it doesn't take money...

i also had to call for the combined fantasmic/pixar music dining package..
you can book online for one or the other, but you have to call to get the combined package..
