Are you able to book 180+10 with a DVC reservation?

i'm trying and it's just saying it can't pull up my reservation. is it different when you have DVC than just a regular package?

You can book 180 days in advance, but I have never been able to get my reservations to link online. I always get an error message telling me that the system is unavailable and to check back later when I try to look up my DVC reservation from the Disney dining site. But, I can still see the reservation when I go to the DVC reservation site. I would love to know, step-by-step, how to get the reservation to show up in my itinerary on the main site!

(I'm glad you posted this question!)

I was able to book mine with my DVC reservation #, but I have heard of others having issues. But I was able to use the 180+10 just fine last fall using the online system.

I just had no problem making 180+10 adrs for our 12/26 trip online. Also had no problem last year making them online. both reservations were dvc.

Were you able to get your DVC reservation to link to your itinerary on the disney.go.com site? If so, how? I would love to know how to do this!

I don't know about that (don't think so) but you don't have to do that to do the dining. You just go to the dining site, and when prompted - after picking a restaurant - you "associate" your reservation (last I knew it was a box above the restaurant list where this is). That will get you the calendar dates with the +10.

PS - there is a huge online dining tutorial thread on the Restaurants forum / Reservations subforum.

Hi! I was able to do it as well...... remember when everyone was talking about the "190 glitch?". I made my ressies then and was able to link it. When I went on the dining ressie site and clicked on the date-calendar area, there as a link underneath it that said something like "if you have a reservation, please log in" I just clicked on that and it took me to a page that asked for my reservation number and my check in date..... I remember that the check in date would never let me put in my actual date for some reason.... it would always automaticaly put in a date for me, it would be a few days off, but it would still let me make my dining ressies. HTH! Thanks, April

I've done it with no problem. You must access your reservation from a restaurant page, as stated above.

Computer glitches scare me. I think I will call when it's time.

Its very easy as others have stated and you get your email confirmation right after. I had no trouble doing them at 180+10 for 12/26 and all my adrs are listed when I check under my reservations...much easier than phoning and going thru CM to check availability IMHO>

I had the same problem. I contacted Disney via the website explaining the situation and a few days
later my dvc reservation #
worked.

what is the + 10? Do DVC members get to make reservations earlier?

All onsite guests get to make 10 days worth of reservations, 180 days from the start of their trip (notwithstanding the fact that there's some problem with the website right now allowing people to book 190 days out from their dining dates- but this is an oddity, and probably temporary).

Off site visitors can only book 180 days out from the date of their restaurant reservation, they can't make 10 days worth of reservations in one phone call/online session like onsite guests can.

180+10 is a perk for all on-site guests.

Onsite guests, including DVC, may make reservations at 180 days from their resort check-in date, and up to 10 days following that 180 day mark. Offsite guests can not make the additional 10 days worth of ADRs.
