Hi everyone. I am about to make ADRs for our late April/early May trip. But because there are 5 adults going, we had to book two rooms, which means two separate reservations with the dining plan. Do I need to sign into my reservation and do the ADRs under one of them? Will that mess up the dining plan? Will both reservations come up? Thanks for any help!

We have four rooms reserved, and I made most of the reservations under mine. It doesn't seem to matter, and I really hope it doesn't!

In terms of your actual ddp, it does not matter who makes the reservation. When you "pay" at the restaurant they will ask for one card from each party/family and process the meal payment that way. The only thing that could mess you up would be if someone wants to cancel. The whole resi for that restaurant would need to be cancelled and rebooked for anyone who is still going, but I'm assuming this is not a likely problem for you. Also, FYI, they will add your tip on automatically since you will be more than 6 people.

Have a great trip!

We will still be under 6 because it is just the 5 adults this time.

I am so disappointed though because last week when I was looking at ADRs online, there were so many at the times I wanted and now they aren't there! Where did they go? How much luck have people had with them popping up? Should I keep checking or rearrange my schedule?

Try some odd times. I always try lunch and untraditional eating times and I rarely don't get the restaurants I want. Also, if there is one you really want, try every day. People cancel all the time.

You really only need to put in your reservation number in order to access 180+10, so since you're well under the 180 mark, it's really not an issue. It does say that if you'd like to associate your DDP to your dining reservation to retrieve your resort reservation, but I'm not aware of a reason why you would actually need to.
