That is too funny about the dining room. My projects are scattered on the dining room table!!!! We have a kitchen bar that we eat at.
I just found out that my BFF is coming with her family to stay with us on the 9th. I'm going to try to get everything done and cleaned up before she gets here. Wish me luck!!

We had company for the weekend 2 weeks ago so I had to wait to do a lot of the things that I have been working on. I shouldn't be having any company (at least I don't think so) before our trip so I can spread out!

Have a good visit with your BFF.

Sorry about Doug's seizure, sometimes those meds are hard to regulate. I think they will get it regulated before your trip. Have fun planning.

This last 3 days off have been pretty fruitful.
I managed to complete the projects I was working on. I got the house cleaned up and in order. I got laundry caught up. And I managed to take a few pics of it all.

Thanks guys. The cats love to climb the various trees we have in the yard. Ember climbed one of the big maples the other day and Doug had to rescue her. He told me not to let her climb the big trees any more. They're so cute. I can't get 2 feet away from them without them calling to me and then following me when I answer. They'll be going for their snip, snip in abut 3 more weeks.

Guess what-----I got the Disney evelope today!!!

Doug got his letter from Mickey too!!! He saw it had Disney stuff on it and handed it to me. I said,"It's addressed to you, you open it!" He looked at it and I took a picture. He said, "You are a weirdo!" I said, "No, I'm a DISer and a Focker and proud of it!"

I know a lot of you probably think that getting stuff from Disney in the mail is no big deal. You have to remember, it's been 19 yrs since I was there last and I didn't even plan anything. Heck my DDad made room reservation. I've been sweatin' it for about a week now. 'When's that evelope going to get here. Maybe it's lost in the mail... maybe they dropped our ressie... maybe I didn't do this right... maybe I should call...etc,etc.'
What a relief when I saw that beautiful blue and white envelope.

Everything inside matched what I had reserved. So cool. No computer gremlins so far!!

Doug's surprise letter came also.

This is as close as he gets to a smile. Here's a close-up of the letter.

I thought it was adorable. I wouldn't mind getting one myself. He still laughs at me and calls me a weirdo for doing it. I told him he could ride PotC by himself. And if he can't find me when he disembarks it's probably because I found Capt'n Jack and Capt'n Morgan.
