ADR's: Never cease to be surprised

I booked our ADR's for late Sept/early Oct. Got everything we wanted accept one. So here is our list:

Crystal Palace (B)
Ohana (D)
Boma (D)
CRT (B)
Le Cellier (D)
Raglan Road (D)
Whispering Canyons (D)
Mamma Melrose (D)
Chef Mickey's (D)
Tusker House (B)

Of all of those the only one I couldn't get, anywhere in our trip was... Whispering Canyons. I was in complete shock... my wife and I are taking my parents and my sister and this is the one restaurant my Dad wanted to go to. Oh well, I got some ADR's I didn't think I'd get so you won't find me complaining.

Thanks for posting! Glad you got most of what you watned. I call on 7/2 for our late September/early October trip....very nervous!

That is really surprising that you could get LeCellier and Chef Mickey's but not Whispering Canyon. When we booked it last year there were plenty of openings. And, truth be told, we're sorry we went--bad service, bad food (DH got sick on the skillet).

I just called today for our reservations in the last week of September. I got the two we wanted, breakfast at 'Ohana on 9/28 and Dinner at Crystal Palace on 9/30 with no problems.

I was hoping for a dinner at Chef Mickey's but they were booked on the two days I checked for our limited window of 4-6pm. They added lunch times to Chef Mickey's during the free dining period to handle all the add'l requests which I thought was nice. However, I didn't take advantage of that as our two youngest are still early afternoon nappers and naptime is sacred at that age to avert the crankies!
