ADR's...I need all the help I can get-first trip with triplets!

I think this looks GREAT. As far as your other two days, I guess I would change day 7 to either breakfast at Ohana's with Lilo and Stitch or see if you want to do the castle or trek over to Epcot and Akershus for Jasmine. BTW-Epcot is also on the monorail system, but you will have to change monorails, (which is not hard), and then once at Epcot, you will have to walk to Akershus which is in World Showcase, maybe equal to 2-3 blocks??? It will just take you longer in travel time, it's not really as inconvenient as the bus. So if they really want to see Jasmine, and you have the time that morning, the trip itself is not THAT bad, just will take time. Maybe 30-40 minutes. Depending on how fast you walk.

Day 8 - for the non-character day I would pick either Grand Floridian Cafe or Ohana's. Ohana's would be alot of fun and different as far as stuff for the kids to do. I think you'd enjoy it alot. If you just want to stay at the resort for the night and relax, then Grand Floridian Cafe would be excellent. It's got "chef prepared" type food, excellent service, lovely Victorian atmosphere and still maintains a casual dining atmosphere. Either would be great.

Day 9- I'd move Chef Mickey to this day. I don't think you can end the vacation any better than Chef Mickey. It's got a different atmoshere than any of the other character meals in that it's a celebration type mood with singing and napkin waving. Lots of fun. IMO, a GREAT way to "get you in the Disney mood" when you arrive, or "say good-bye" :sad2: to a Disney vacation. I've done it both ways and in between!!! :goodvibes

OH, someone mentioned the movie at Sci Fi. They play those old black and white Japanese type films. Would be your call as you know your daughters. Another great non character alternative at MGM is also 50's Prime Time.

There are actually quite a lot of character meals that are not buffets. I've been a couple of times with my kids who are 4 and 18 months right now. Persoanlly I would change Sci Fi dine in to 50's Prime Time. I think as far as seating you will find it easier especially since the kids still sit in highchairs. Chef Mickeys Crystal Palace and 1900 are all buffets. I would keep 1900 because it will give you a good feel for how your kids are with characters. Cinderella and Prince Charming are "face characters" while the mice are in full costumes with heads. I think you should try for a meal at Aksurus in Norway with the princesses that is family style. Also consider the garden grill in Epcot. Go ahead and make the ADRs they are great to have but be totally prepared to eat a lot of meals in your resort at a place like the Grand Floridian cafe. :confused3 Sometimes the kids just get over stimulated. Best of luck and take it slow!

I'm actually in the minority here but I like the buffets. I have twins that I've taken to places like Crystal Palace since they were 2. I figure your odds are similar to ours (1 adult for 1 child). We would each just take one with us and let them look the food over (the kid buffet choices are lower). After the first trip, my DH and I just took turns getting anything else we needed for everybody. Then dessert was one adult with one child. The reason that I like it is because it is easier to get lots of the stuff you know they will eat and getting them up during the meal makes it not so long for them.

I agree with the poster who mentioned that the movie clips at Sci Fi could be scary for your little ones. Or, they might not pay attention to them at all. Another thing about Sci Fi. It's very quiet as everyone is really watching the show.

It's a very fun restaurant but you might want to know these two things about it.

LTT their dinner is a character meal - and family style!

If you want to add the Princesses, Norway is a family style.

Ohana has lots of different feedback, for my dd a picky eater, she usually eats snacks before we go, and she loves the hula hoop and the coconut races - for your 2yr olds, you may have to be up as much as they are!! Oh, and what she orders? THIS HUGE bucket of ice - ala snow cone, you can keep the bucket and shovel btw... it just wouldnt be someplace I'd want to take 2 year olds, let alone triplets, but that's just me, I'm getting old!! :rotfl:

I agree with others, make your adr's and see how things go, if its too much for your family, you can cancel when you're there! Since you're staying at the GF - their cafe can be a nice refreshing change of pace too!!

Its so hard to predict isnt it??? and yet its so much fun to plan!!

Good Luck

Their favorite characters are Stitch/Lilo, Mickey/Minnie, and Princess Jasmine. Anywhere I can find Lilo and Stitch or Jasmine?

So far the suggestions have been great, keep them coming! Thanks!
Lilo and Stich are at the Ohana charactor breakfastat the poly...Mckey and Minnie at Chef Mickeys at the contemporary and I believe Jasmine is at Akersus in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT... I thought dinner at Akershus was not good, but breakfast was good

Okay, changing things a little bit...

ekball: Thanks for the tip. If there was any chance that the Sci-Fi place was going to be scary for them I didn't want to try it. I just read more about it, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into! I think they would be scared in there because it is dark and then if there were scary movie clips playing that would just put them over the edge. I just cancelled that one! Thanks!

Day 2 is now Little Einsteins at Hollywood and Vine. That makes 3 character meals in a row...is that a bad idea?

Eeyore2003, I liked your idea about Chef Mickey's, Day 9 now has bfast there before leaving!

Day 8 is now Grand Floridian Cafe dinner.

Now there's no meals on day 7...

For day 7, I suggest 1900 Park Fare dinner. I think it will be exciting for the girls to meet Cinderella, but that's your decision. Also, the food there is a buffet and it is to die for! As far as breakfast go, I recommend Crystal Palace.. they'll get to meet Pooh and the gang & the food is great!

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

Since you are going to Chef Mickey's you will see Minnie and Mickey there so I would drop Liberty Tree Tavern and put 'Ohana for dinner there, or maybe Tony's in the Magic Kingdom. That will help to space out the character meals which can get overwhelming for little ones!

Garden Grill is a fabulous choice. The food is awesome, served family style, and the character interaction is the best. It is our favorite cm at WDW.

Well, you're running out of restaurants on the monorail!!! :rotfl:

There's a bunch of options, all of which I"m sure you've thought about

You could do Ohanas' breakfast and dinner, for Lilo and Stitch and a non-character fun meal.

You could change Ohana non-character dinner with Little Einsteins and either choose to do two character meals in a day by doing Ohana's for breakfast, or you could just relax in the AM and eat at the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast, they are equally as good for breakfast and handy.

You could do Ohanas' or GFC for breakfast and then Akershus for Princess Jasmine for dinner.

OR Akershus for breakfast and Ohana's non character, but fun, for dinner.

JFYI-although we did happen to see Cinderella at Akershus one time, most of the time I THINK, it is advertised as the "other" princesses. The only Princess you will see at 1900 Park Fair your first night will be Cinderella. We've been there twice and it has only been her for a Princess. Akershus has a variety of Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle and Sleeping Beauty.

Another whole option is the castle. You could use it for character for breakfast, or non-character, (just to eat in "Cinderella's castle") for dinner. Which is also kind of neat.

Happy to help! I think Little Einsteins are a GREAT choice! I thought about that because DD likes LE, but we've already got 3 character meals, really didn't want any more. The way I'm looking at the character meals is that if we have a problem with the first one (scared of characters, not eating, etc.) we'll just cancel the other 2 and pray we can get in somewhere else.

As for day 7....what are your plans that day?? Going to a park, a day off?? We are going to Boma on one of our off days - an easier day for the trek to AKL. I've read great things about it. It's another buffet, but that means lots of choices for the kids. I thought we'd try to go a bit early on our Boma day to see if we can spot some of the animals from the lodge. Also, since a little farther away from your resort (ours too, we'll be at the WL), you could plan to take a cab "home" after you eat. That's my plan for our Boma day - it will get us back to the resort much quicker, without waiting, for approx. $15. Worth it!

As others said, you could also try for O'hana - another choice I really wanted, but it was booked for every night of the week we are going to be there. :guilty:
