I know that people start making ADR's 180 days out, but we are seriously considering going in May due to my school schedule.
Is it too late to expect being able to make any decent reservations? We have never been to WDW before so we're not picky- just want to eat a decent TS meal every night and get one character breakfast in there somewhere.
Any advice would be appreciated!

We are going the first week in April and I just made a reservation today for a character lunch with no problem at all. Although I will say we are flexible with times. Good luck!

About 3 weeks ago, we decided to book a short trip in mid-May. When I was making ADR's, I didn't have too much trouble. I was even able to get a lunch ADR at CRT!! :)

I typically don't make any ADR's in advance, and just call the day before or day of to see what's open. Of course, if you are wanting some of the hard to get into restaurants, then I would go ahead and call right away. But if you're flexible, you shouldn't have any trouble getting dining lined up.

I've made room reservations with as little as four days notice, and I haven't starved yet (although I probably could stand to).:rolleyes1

I have a trip planned for 4/25-5/1 & made most of my ADRs only about a week or two ago, including 2 character breakfasts. This weekend my mom booked too, w/ my 2 sisters & their kids & I was able to book a 9 person ADR for lunch at the Garden Grill during our stay. (Neice & Nephews first Disney trip & I wanted to make sure they got in at least 1 char meal. :wizard: )

So I would say if you are flexible about where and/or when you want to eat and get on the phone w/ a list of possible choices you should be able to get some ADRs in, no problem. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving everything to the last minute, but that's just me. :)

We're going April 19th - 26th and I just made my adr's today. I got everything we wanted except Crystal Palace at 9:00 am instead of 8:00 am.

We leave on Saturday and I just called and made a reservation for Sunday. Had no problem, and had a bunch of different times to choose from. We live 2 1/2 hours away so we are always taking last minute trips. I'm sure it depends on what time of year you go. We always go the first week in March and it's never crowded. :)

You shouldn't have too much trouble but definitely make them! We went last May and going mid May this year and last year we saw multiple times (there were signs outside guest relations and where you can make ADR's) in the parks that the TS restaurants were booked and to please try CS restaurants instead.

We're going through the same thing! We just booked a trip for March 30 - literally just booked it a few minutes ago! So, now I have to figure out ADRs and hope I can actually get some of them! Yikes!

I know the feeling. This was a last minute planned trip and now DD just told me she wants to eat with "Cinderella" since a friend of hers did last time.....
I called and of course CRT is booked solid so I am calling like everyday lol!!
