Hey everyone! We have a trip planned for the last week of Aug... free dining..... and our neighbors will be there at the same time. We are hoping to have a few meals together. There will be 11 in all...5 adults, a 13y/o, a 9 y/o, an 8 y/o, a 4 y/o and two 2 y/o's. Will I be able to make these ADRs using the regular dining reservation line? And, any suggestions about places who are good at accommodating larger groups? Thanks for your help!!!

We had a grand gathering last summer (16 in all!) for the meals we all ate together I had to use the grand gathering dining option.

Here are the restaurants we all ate together:

Beaches and Cream (no adrs)
Sci-Fi
Crystal Palace Breakfast
Biergarten
Coral Reef

Here is the one where thirteen of us ate:

Liberty Tree Tavern

Here are the ones where 12 of us ate together:

Mama Melrose's
Cape May Buffet

Hope this helps!

We did 11 in Jan 09, did not do Grand Gathering, made adr's on regular dining line, and we were seated together at all but Sci Fi (had two cars side by side) and Coral Reef (had a table for 6 next to a booth for 5).

The places we dined at, no problem sitting together, were Boma, Jiko, Cape May, Tusker House, Crystal Palace.

We've done a larger party than 11 at Tutto Italia, Yachtsmen Steakhouse and Whispering Canyon Cafe also.

On our last trip, sister and family and her in-laws were at Disney at the same time. We ate together at least one meal everyday. We had no problems getting ADRS at the following

50's cafe
Tony's
Chef Mickey's

We were on the dining plan but sis and family weren't. This didn't seem to pose a problem either.
