ADRs... first timer needs help!

So, I need help as to what order to make my ADRs (i.e. which are the most popular). It's my first time and I'd rather not screw it up! So, assuming we can get them, we're shooting for:

Saturday - Crystal Palace Dinner
Sunday - Big River Grille Dinner
Monday - Teppan Edo Dinner
Tuesday - Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner
Sci Fi Lunch
Wednesday - O'hana

I know I need to try for the fantasmic package first, but after that, I have no idea! Any help or suggestions are welcome!

I asked basically the same question earlier today but I didn't get a lot of responses. One piece of advice I did get - which makes A LOT of sense - is to reserve the meals that are most important to YOU first. So if you would be crushed that you didn't get into Teppan Edo because you're celebrating a special occassion that night (for example) then reserve that one first and don't worry so much about which are the most popular. The most important (to you) are not always the most popular.

Also, for what it's worth, I seem to be reading about a lot of people having trouble getting into Sci Fi. I'm not sure why because I thought it was mediocre at best. Anyway, good luck!!

I agree with pp about making reservations to what is important to you first. I do think Ohana should be made first. We tried to get in December, nothing was available BUT we were trying to change things around 30 days before we arrived.

You should be fine. Don't stress too much. I've never made reservations on the first day, and I've always gotten what I wanted.

I think 'Ohana and MM Fantasmic Pkg. may be the most in demand on your list. We've never had problems getting Sci-Fi for lunch or CP for dinner. Teppan Edo is usually pretty easy as well. We've never tried BRG, so I can't say about that one.

'Ohana is going to be the hard ticket here, and the Fantasmic packages tend to get snapped up pretty quick, too.

I don't think Big River takes ADRs, but someone can correct me on this.

You can call Big River directly, WDW dining does not make ADRs for them. They take walk-ups too, but during prime mealtimes there would be a wait.
