These are both very good points. I'm hoping a moderator or someone with in-depth knowledge can provide a legitimate answer. Furthermore, anyone calling recently or in the near future for ADRs, and utilizing the 90+10 rule, is planning on vacationing in WDW between June and August, which, let's be honest, is the busiest, long-haul window of the year. Free Dining in August thru October won't help, nor will the holidays thereafter.
Also keep in mind that in addition to the place you want and the time you'd like, you must consider the # of people for whom you are reserving. Not every TS location has a hundred tables for 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 people. Even if they do, it is an unspoken caveat that "some" CMs will not make a reservation for 3 people even if they have tables available for 6 and above. They will not waste that table on 50% coverage. In short, just because you are told there is nothing available for your requested time doesn't mean that nothing is available. It just means that nothing is available for your party size. Could you request two tables? Possibly, but there's no guarantee they will be available at the same times or even near each other.
90 days was the rule as far back as April maybe March. The only ones that went beyond that time was for CRT, V&A and Chef Mickey's which was until 6/19. Other than day all ADR's have only be available for 90 days for a couple of months now.
We had difficutly for the tougher places to get. Like LeCellier. And we are a typcial family of 4. All we could get was lunch on one of the days or a very late dinner after 9 which does not work with kids.
Good luck to everyone. It really depends upon what places you are requesting and the timing I guess. Hope ya'll get all the adrs you need!
