Planning our Disney Vacation from May 24-31, 2008. Still unsure as to where we want to eat, but we will be on the dining plan. From what I can figuire, the date for booking ADRs for our trip will be November 24. But I will not be able to book them til the 25th or the 26th. Hoping to get into Le Cellier for dinner one night, and California Grill as well. Still not sure where else. But do we stand a chance at getting in to these popular restaurants if we can't book til a few days late?

I was also wondering what restaurants we should not miss!

Thanks:thumbsup2

I don't think you'll have a problem. Last year we booked Le Cellier for the last week in May at a really good time about a month before. Can't say about CG since we didn't try that one. I think you'll be cool.

I don't think you'll have a problem with California Grill, especially if you're flexible with dates and times.

FYI - For September (free dining) I booked CG in late April, well past the 180 day mark. I was only able to get a 9:00pm ressie. BUT it was great! We arrived just before Wishes, watched from the outdoor balcony, then were seated shortly after. We were in a dining room toward the lagoon and saw the floating light parade as it passed by.

It did make for a late night, but it was a wonderful experience.

Those two you cannot miss! LOL You'll be fine for both. Actually, CaliGrill will be easier to book than Le Cellier, but you should be able to get into both quite easily. The end of May is after FL kids get out of school, but not yet the crowds from the Northeast, and before Gay Days, so you should hit it right.

The Flying Fish is great, if you want to add it to your list. Yachtsman, Jiko, Boma. They're all good. I haven't had a bad meal yet at these places. I have had marginal at Coral Reef and poor at DTD (Fulton's). But you sound like you like the upper end of things. These would be my personal choices.

We are going the same week, we are out of school on May 23rd. Most FL schools will not be out in May this year due to the late August start new this school year. All our nephews in 3 different school districts in FL get out either May 30th or June 6th.
