We will be at the campground 12/9-12/14. Will we need ADRs to eat at Trails End? Is it usually a crowded place? We can always eat in the RV , but just wondering if we would be able to get in if we changed our minds for a few meals  TIA

It has been busier lately--I'm assuming it's due to the dining package program. However, we made reservations and showed up for breakfast a couple of Sundays ago. We were told a 20-40 minute wait and so were the walk-ups in front of us. It took right at 40 minutes, too.

Confused enough? What I think I'm trying to say is make the adr if you want to but you will probably get in with a 30 minute wait if you don't make it.

thanks for the info...i guess with 5 kids we'll have to send someone ahead to hold our place in line

No, just sign in. They'll give you one of those coaster things and the playground is only steps away from the porch. If your kids are old enough you can sit in a rocking chair on the porch and let them play. If they aren't big enough you can probably get paged at the playground so the kids can play while waiting.

Yep, exactly. This is what we did and the pagers worked at the playground just fine. The CM actually told us that they would work out at the marina too, so you could go play on the beach if you like as well.
