Does Beaches and Cream take ADRs? Or are the only places in that area that do not take them ESPN Club and Big River Brewery?

Also, how late is Beaches and Cream open? We think about it as an option on the day of arrival for a light dinner to just grab a sandwich or burger or something.

They're open from 11am to 11pm.

I'm hoping to get a table at 11am for an early lunch right after we check-in. I'm dying to try the No Way Jose!

If you can't get a table, you could always order "to go" and find a seat outside. The tables outside are small. I remember having ice cream outside with my son.

Beaches and Cream does not take ADR's, I believe that you can only get Ice Cream related items to eat outside. The Take Out Window doesn't have the sandwiches etc.
I believe that Big River Grille does take reservations if you call them directly. They may only take them 30 days in advance

I'm going back to 2/06, we were able to get burgers and hotdogs to go on several occassions. Don't know if that's changed.

When my boyfriend and I were there last year (Nov. 07), the "take out" menu was limited to a few flavors of ice cream and milkshakes, no sundaes. If you're looking to have lunch, I wouldn't count on this option.

Our flight gets into Orlando at 10am on 11/26, and we're hoping to grab Beaches and Cream for lunch once we get off the Magical Express ... however, we're also fully prepared to have to go with a contingency plan for lunch, as I'm sure, on the day before Thanksgiving, it's going to be pretty packed. :(

They do not take ADRs sadly! The last time we went we had to wait about 30to 40 minutes, but worth it!:goodvibes

You won't be grabbing if it's a busy time of year. Usually a long wait for a table and even longer wait to be served.

They don't take ADR's.

It can be a long wait, but the wait is minimized if you dine at a less popular time.

We went in March 2008 on the Saturday before Easter. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and were first in line to be seated.

Personally, I like having a few places that don't take reservations - it gives me some flexibility in touring plans. I really dislike feeling locked into an itinerary when I am supposed to be relaxing on vacation. I know many others feel differently and that's why I am also glad that so many places take ADR's.

We have waited as long as 75 min, party of 12. It was a Wed night about normal dinner time and as short as 5 min, party of three about 9:30 at night. I agree that it is worth the wait.

No more take out sundaes? :guilty: That's terrible. When I was there in September 06 I remember getting a sundae and sitting outside on the porch of the Beach club and devouring it. Oh man it was good. I'd hate to have to get a table to be able to do that now.

We just tried to get ice cream here on Saturday Nov 8 at 8pm it was a 90-120 min wait for a table. We went back to the villa and had frozen pizza. popcorn::
