ADR's and park capacity

I have an ADR for LT on Thanksgiving day. If the park is at capacity before I get there will they still let me in the park? Just curious as there are 14 of us includiin a 3 mth, 18 mth, and a 4 year old. We were thinking of taking the younger ones back to the room and then coming back since the ADR insn't until 7:00. Thanks

There are several stages of closing. I forget what they all are, but I know there's a point where the parks close to people who are not staying at a Disney resort, but you can still get in if you're staying on property. However, at the final stage of closing, NO ONE gets in. Not even if you have an ADR.

That said, I doubt if MK will still be that busy at 7PM on Thanksgiving. It seems like the closings usually occur earlier in the day, and things seem to ease up by the late afternoon. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get in around dinnertime.

We didn't get closed out on Christmas Day, so I hope that Thanksgiving will not be an issue either.
