I know I should have planned my meals a long time ago, but with 19 days to go i think its probably to late to go and do this. However Fh and i have no problem waiting for a table even if it is like two hours or so.
Are we going to be able to eat at the restaurants still ?

Are you on the dinning plan? If not, then you may still be able to get the ADR's. Alot of park rest. fill up early, but you can usually get into a resort rest. Most of the best rest. are in the resorts. We have seen lots of people turned away without ADR's. If you can't get dinners, you can still get lunch ADR's and do CS for dinner. I called yesterday and got Coral Reef in EPCOT for lunch in Aug. with free dining. Didn't think I would get it. Good luck

Make sure you hit the places you'd like to eat first thing in the morning~you should be ok. You probably won't get the busy, prime time hours but you'll be fine, especially if it's just the two of you. Have a blast and don't stress, it's suppose to be a vacation!

if you walk up to the world showcase restaurants, crystal palace or liberty tree tavern in MK, 50s prime time or sci fi in MGM, or any other popular restaurant on property during a "busy" time of year at supper time you are probably out of luck. i have seen it over and over while we are waiting for our ADR time. and then the people walk away complaining about how Disney does not have their ____ together when really it was just poor planning on their part. we always make our ADRs as soon as the 6 month window opens and even then if we are going over a "special event" we might have to settle for a time we dont want. good luck.

I agree. We were there for 8 nights in the beginning of June, and every night we saw people being turned away from restaurants. Of the places we went - Kona, Ohana, Concourse, Le Cellier, Chef Mickey's, Akershus and 1900 Park Fare - not a single one of them had any availability for walk ups.

Thanks, I'm going to try to plan some things out tonite and see if i can call to make any reservations. We completely understand that it is our own fault for not making plans if we dont get a table.

I would definitely try to make some, I made mine pretty late last year and really had no problems.

i will second that, even two days in advance is much better than waiting till you get there. when i make mine and they give me the confirmation number it may change by 30 or 40 numbers between each one i get which takes less than 5 minutes. there is a lot of activity going on there and every minute counts

We called from the parks on 3 occasions and got in 2 of the 3 times ( the 3rd we just weren't interested in the times they had to early). One was Tony's on a Sat night , the other was Sci-Fi right after Fantasmic.

So it is possible if you don't have your heart set on certian places but as people get their choices down cancels do happen and open up that the Hostest can't see on her/his list so always call first then try a walk-up.
