ADR System Upgrade - History

I'm getting married in May and I'd like to be able to make some reservations for all the people in my wedding party (there will be like, 20 people). This is so frustrating! I've never made ADR before, how do I go about doing so when they finally open?

hey that's how i am right now i've made them for 3/21 and 3/22 but can't for the rest of my trip, it's really awful, not knowing what i'll be able to book, ect. but then again i guess there's a lot more to worry about then ADRs i'll just hope monday i can book if not i'll wait a little longer...

I called Disney Dining and found out they are only making ressies through March 22nd. Is there any way to find out when more dates will be released? Should I just call every now and then and check. I'm waiting on the first week of April.

Me too! I'm May 1 at SBP and I have in-laws arriving from Ireland...so, I'm in the same boat as you! (It sucks, doesn't it?)....

Plus it's very stressful on top of all the other wedding planning stuff etc., you know?

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I've been a bit MIA from the boards lately because of my busy schedule.

I was on the phone today with DVC member services and was told by the CM that we still cannot make ADR's past March. BUT, on here, I'm noticing people talking about April and May ADR's. So, of course I am very confused right now.

I am going in June and my 180 day mark is next week! So, will I be able to make my ADR's, or will I have to wait. And if I have to wait, do we know till when?

Yesterday when I was changing some things around, the CM told me I should be able to do my last 2 days (march 23,24) on Dec 21st...we'll see.

If you are making reservation for a large group, you should speak to Disney's Group Dining department. THe phone number is 1-407-939-7707 they can help keep your group together. They might require you to use a credit card to hold the reservation.

Have you talked to anyone about a "Grand Gathering"? Here is the link to wdwinfo's page about Grand Gatherings.

While making CRT reservations today the CM said it would be " a couple of weeks" before reservations open.

I just called Grand Gatherings to pay for some of my guests' Safari Celebration Dinner (have to pay this out over months, it's a bit expensive)...and I asked the GG CM, and was told Dec. 22......

so, it sounds like they're still keeping with the Dec 22 date as of now...

if anything dec 22 will extend the current system out a bit further. the new system will most likely come in january, since training has not begun on the new system yet for cm
