Where did you read that? Just wondering, because the DIS board here seems to have the latest updates from a dining CM and that hasn't been reported here.

I meant to add that I read it on the Mom's Panel and then after further researching I also found it on Mousesavers.

Here is the quote from Mousesavers:

Now through November 30, 2008, guests can book dining reservations ONLY up to March 22, 2009 arrivals.

Beginning December 1, 2008, guests will be able to book dining reservations ONLY up to May 10, 2009 arrivals.

When the upgrade is complete (currently anticipated to be January 2009), booking processes will return to normal, allowing guests to book up to 180 days of arrival.

This is awesome if it's true!!

Well if the Dec 1st book through May 10th is true I'll be able to book at least half of my ADR's.

YAY:banana: ....I can't wait...I can start to seriously plan now:rotfl: :rotfl:

Well if Dec 1st is true I guess I will be making my ADR's at work.:thumbsup2

Monday's are way too busy at my job!!! (Medical field...Monday's are CRAZY!!!) I guess I'll have to get up early and get dressed and then call at 7 am from home before I go to work. Oh boy! It's hard enough for me to get up at 7 am as it is. :scared1: Now i have to be showered and dressed by 7 am. I have to be to work by 8:30 but have to leave my house at 8:10, drop DS off at school and then go to work just a few miles away.

Wonder how heavy the phones will be??

Looks like I'll be getting up early on the 1st then...I don't have to leave from work until 8:10!

I hope these are true rumors! Fingers crossed :thumbsup2

I am glad we don't have to do this on Dec 1st. We already have to wake up early for registration of my daughter in catholic school. This would be too much for us to plan in 1 day.

Oh, Oh Oh, I'm so excited!!!! Has this been confirmed?? At least I will be able to get half my ADR's before I go on vacation!

Oh boy! I hope the Dec 1st date is true--and if so that morning is going to be a whirlwind for us, ADRs at 7 a.m., need to check-in for a SWA flight at 8 a.m.

Once we have solid confirmation I'll update the first post as such. As of right now we only have 'official' word from the Disney Mom's panel. I am not sure where they get their information from, so I'm listing it as a strong rumor in the first post.

I'm checking a few sources and will see if I can get more solid confirmation soon. When I do I'll update the first post again and will indicate the change in the thread title.

Thank heavens for my wonderful TA. I just have to email her my wish list and leave the hard part up to her. Luckily for me she is WONDERFUL at getting me what I want. :lovestruc

I hope that the Dec. 1st thing is true, I'll be able to make all our ADRs!! :goodvibes

I will have to wake up extra early that day though because I have to leave for work at 7:30 so I need to make sure I'm all done by 7 in case it takes a long time to get through and I need to run out the door when I'm done! :headache:

I don't arrive until May 13 so i still have to wait... sheesh.....

Try having to wake up at 2:50am to be prepared to call at 3am. Yep - living in Alaska we are 4 hours behind Florida and I probably will not be able to get back to sleep so that will make for an unpleasant and LONG Monday.

But don't get me wrong I'm thrilled with the news. I'm so ready to finalize all our plans and if the rumor is right we will because our WDW trip ends on May 9. Yeah!

Well, I guess I can plan my ADR for Dec. 10. I've already booked Chef Mickey for Dec 9 so I guess it will be a little more waiting for the rest of our trip.

BTW, I talked to a CM today when I called to modify our reservation, he said that when everything is done with this new software that our ADR reservations will be linked with our resort reservations. They will be able to email us our ADR reservations along with our resort reservations. Pretty cool!:thumbsup2

Anybody else FREAKING OUT b/c the May park hours still aren't up yet???!!! :confused3 I'd really like to know park hours, EMH, etc, before I book ADR's. Does this mean those of us going in early May are just going to have to guess where the best park to have dinner each night will be? --Katie

If they're not up before we can book (we go May 17th), I'm going to buy APs so that we can park hop (our passes we have our single visit)...
