ADR System Upgrade - History

I sure hope they dont release all the dates at one time just do like a month this week, another month next week, and so forth until it gets caught up. Becasue when i called last week for the new promotion my TA was on hold for 1 1/2 hours to get me the discount on opening day. I can only imagine how bad its gonna be on ADR day for Disney, and us impatient ones at that!!! I still need to go fonalize my Dinner choices though!! decisions decisions

That's ok, we want to fonalize our ADRs too!I agree about doing it a week
at a time. Hopefully someone at WDW has thought of that too. Each day I check this thread about 5 times. I know, I know, December right, but a person can hope!

Sounds like a deal. I am getting paranoid that I won't get my dates I have planned and then when I look at my schedules I start second guessing my self. I really need to get a life and stop obsessing. But this is all we have left to plan, I finally got my tickets from Southwest so this is all I have.

I think i was one of 30 people that did not close that thread all day and kept posting and posting untill it finally came out!! I think i have a problem.

Yeah, I kept reading that thread trying to figure out how it could work for me, but we are DVC members with APs, so for this trip it's out. Sooooo! glad there is a code for others to take advantage of!

Well the current system is only available in the states insofar as there is only a US telephone number for it - but you can call in and book from anywhere in the world, of course. I see no reason for that to be changed.

I would have hoped that in a total re-design, the software development people will have taken international guests into account. Currently, I think there are still some parts of the highly fragmented Disney online system which still insist on validating telephone numbers into (3) (3) (4) groups. The people who designed those forms need to get out more, especially beyond the US borders...

That would be so if it didn't work for the rest of the world. Its bad enough with an international call but can't for the life of me see any logic in making it US only for online reservations.

We had a trip for May but most likely will cancel to save $ for a bit first. I think not being able to make our ADR's is really just showing me in fact that we should not go until we have our affairs in order.

When I called last week I was told after 12/21. When I called again today with another question I decided to ask again and was told after 11/21.

If you want to subscribe to any thread you are reading, there is a menu bar at the top of each thread. One choice is called "Thread Tools." Click on that, and a drop down menu will appear and you can choose "Subscribe to this Thread" and you will be all set.
