ADR System Upgrade - History

Hi Eva,

It's 180 days from your check in date, for the first 10 days of your trip. My mom is checking in on 4/15 and I was able to make CM ressies on October 17 (180 days from 4/15) for 4/22. Good luck! I'm still waiting to make the rest of our ressie's but at least I have my Chef Mickey's booked.

Thanks so much! I am assuming that I will be able to make our Luau and Backyard BBQ ADR's then too. Thanks again.

I feel the pain for early april. Well be in the world March 28th - April 4th!! And im looking at menues everyday trying to decided.. Much praise to all you people that know what you want!! Does anyone know whick restraunt it is that has prefered seating for Fantasmic???

I read a post on a yahoo board I'm a member of and someone said they got ADRs for April. Not sure if it was just for those still allowing 180 d out ressies but the context of the message did not seem so PLUS folks are getting some for various parts of March.

What is going on? Am I going to have to start calling every day to make sure somehow that's not the mystery day my dates opened up. I'm happy for those getting them. But I'd just like some ability to plan myself. First it was 10-26, then 11-21, then I saw something saying maybe Dec. now I'm reading some folks are making March and maybe April ressies.

Frankly it seemed crazy to not have any ressies taken aft Feb and then one day open the flood gates for all the folks going from Feb to late May/June. They should have had a better system and timetable.

Enlighten me if you can. Just confused and anxious.

It'll also be fun on whatever day the remaining three month window is suddenly opened up overnight - I wonder if this brand new system will end up crashing from the load on its first day?

While working yesterday I tried to make random reservations for multiple dates after March 22nd and nothing would let me. It's not like I can just "forget" the cut off date and make a res anyway. The system will not even show me any availability, it will not open that screen at all. So unless someone is booking CRT, CM or V&A at 180 days out there is no way any other reservations are going through, for any time other than up to March 22nd. HTH!

I know Mama Melrose's does and I believe, from reading posts on the DIS, that 50's Prime Time Cafe does as well...but that one is only a guess.

When I called on Friday the CM offered to check dates after 3/22 and I told her I thought it was just up to 3/22 and she said she would check just to make sure. Nothing was available. She told me to call back in December.

Tried at 1:15, also told system was down and to keep trying later this afternoon. I should have known something wasn't right when I rang straight to a CM with no waiting on hold.

Well I was up at 7 on the dot and called. The first time I got the recording telling me they were closed. The very next time it went through. I got the new voice answering message and within five minutes I was talking to a CM.

I got every reservation I needed from March 15 though the 22nd. They include, Cape May, Hollywood and Vine, Le Celier, 1900 Park Fare, and Ohana. I was able to get exactly the times I needed with no problem at all.

I was so worried because of all the hype, that it would be a nightmare, and it was nothing of the sorts. I was all done with all my ressies within fifteen minutes.

So I hope everyone else is having the same luck. The CM told me there wasnt any real back up this morning. I expected to be dialing forever. I even had the cell phone ready thinking I would need to double dial.

Well it's done for me. Good luck to everyone else that is going to make their ressies. I hope it all goes as smoothly as it did for me.

When I phoned at 9am CST the first time this morning the system was down but when I phoned again at 11am CST I got through just fine and was successful.

I also inquired about tours, the pirate adventure, and Cirque etc... I was told I could go ahead and make my Cirque reservations but that all other activities wouldn't be available until the system was completely up and running.

If i leave March 28th what reservations can i call and make now?? I see some people say i cant make reservations, and then some people are getting reservations for certain things? Is it just character meals?

Good to know- we're going April 3rd-6th and wanted to make a couple ressies, but wasn't sure if it would be time!
