First Disney trip since 1992. First entire stay on site (CSR) and first dining plan.
We have the Basic Dining Plan. Our ADR's are for the following restaurants in order by date. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions. Myself, DW, DS (12yrs) and DD (11yrs).

Crystal Palace (Lunch)
Si-Fi Dine-In (Lunch)
Maya Grill (Dinner)
Coral Reef(Lunch)
Princess Storybook Dining @ Akershus (Breakfast)

Still have two TS so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm also not too sure about the Coral Reef as I have seen mixed reviews. I would like more dinner ADR's but I'm a little late to the game. Will still enjoy the vacation.

Been looking for picts of these for the wife as she can tend to be picky. :ssst:

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have only been to CP and Sci Fi (we loved them both). I dont' have any suggestions on your ADRs but you mentioned one in your party is picky. You can view the menus of all WDW restaurants on allears.

I think you made great ADRs :thumbsup2 ! I've been reading that CR is hit or miss recently too, but the ambiance is great so I'm usually willing to risk it and we've never had a bad experience.

If you don't mind using 2 TS credits for a meal, check out California Grill. If you can, try to make a later reservation as you can walk outside on the 15th floor and get a great view of Wishes at MK - it's amazing to see the fireworks from up high and the kids usually love it (music is piped in to enjoy the experience better). The food itself probably makes this one of my favorite restaurants.

Another 1 TS restaurant we never miss is Le Cellier - amazing food and hands down the best steaks at any Disney restaurant!

Hollywood and Vine is also a good one I forgot to mention - it is a buffet, but a good one and everyone in our party can usually find something they like!

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Besides the good food, you get to visit the Lodge & view the savannah out back.

I have been to Sci fi, CP and Coral reef and I love them. Don't worry about coral reef. It is good.

I would suggest any of these for your other meals.
Ohana
Kona
Le cellier
tutto Italia
Chefs de France
Kona

Thanks for the great tips. I added Boma for Dinner (7:30pm) based on Dining Reservation Cast Member suggestion. After Dinner perhaps a night vision view of the animals will be in order. My son would really like that.

I tried the California Grill but I can't seem to find a Dinner time around the fireworks. Most times are after 9:30. Also, I'm not sure about the dress code.

I have one TS left and having a difficult time trying to pick one. I have thought about the Wave for Lunch. I know my son would love the burger. Not sure what my daughter will eat though. Still looking...

I have picky eaters too, so I know your pain. Are you looking for some place in the parks or out?

If in - I booked Tutto Italia and Chefs de France - if it helps DS(13) really wanted both of these. Everything at both these places looked really yummy and they have some dishes that would probably appeal to picky eaters - Spaghetti & Meatballs at Tutto and Mac & Cheese at Chefs; well, they have fancier names but basically that's what the dishes are. Or if you are going to AK what about Tusker House or Yak & Yeti?

If you are looking for something out of the parks these are the places we seriously considered: Kona & O'hana (both get rave reviews). Other places that have yummy looking food include the Captain's Grille (YC) and the GF Cafe. These places aren't as popular so they might have dinner ADRs available; I've not read a lot of harsh criticism of them - everyone who dines here seems to like them. We didn't book these simply because of timing issues.

If you really want dinner some where maybe you could plan for one of the place where no ADRs are taken; ESPN, Big River Grille, Beaches & Cream, etc. :thumbsup2

I'd suggest Tutto Italia. It was one of the best meals of our trip back in June. :thumbsup2

You know I didn't even think about Big River Grille or Beaches & Cream. They both sound great. Thanks

I think everyone will love Beaches & Cream.
