ADR Strategy

I called today to make an ADR for Chefs de France on 1 June. The CM said absolutely nothing was coming up for dinner that night. Do you think it would be worth calling back in a couple weeks to see if there are any cancellations...or trying to book a party of 3 (although there are only 2 of us).

I managed to get a lunch ADR at Chefs, but really wanted dinner just before Illuminations.

I haven't done the ADR process before so am not sure the best approach.
