ADR Regrets

I am headed down Friday for the wknd with my best friend. We have booked 2 dinners and 1 lunch.

Staying at Boardwalk.

I'm having some regrets about what I booked for ADRs. I want to show her the true flavor of my great Disney Dining experiences and I do not think I am capturing that.

We want to make travel easy because she is expecting and because we are only there for the weekend! Also, I'm trying to respect her taste in food - not very daring when it comes to "exotic" foods.

Right now, dinners are booked for Teppan Edo and Spoodles (close to BW) and lunch at Kona.

I might try to get us a dinner at Ohana instead but when I called they only had really early or really late.

Any thoughts?

I haven't done Teppan Edo or Spoodles, but I would totally pick Kona over 'Ohana any day.

We just 'Ohana for dinner (we hadn't been there in years) and I was really disappointed with it. We might go back for breakfast with the characters next trip, but I'm going to pass on dinner there in the future.

I think what you have is fine and I wouldn't change it up at the last minute. It will all be fine, I'm sure.

I think you are good with Teppan Edo. Our food (scallops, filet) have been very good both times we've been.

We've also enjoyed meals at Kona, but the last time the service was just okay. We've skipped it the last two times to WDW.

We hit Spoodles in December, I had the garlic lemon shrimp/pasta I think which tasted very good. Atmosphere was just okay. We enjoyed it much more our first time there back in 2005 or 2006.

Personally, with staying at Boardwalk, I would have to go to Flying Fish. Truly a great meal and one of our favorites from our August vacation. That would be more of a "showing" of good dining at Disney.

I haven't eaten at Teppen Edo, but I've had great meals at Kona and a good meal at Spoodles with wonderful service. I think your ADRs are just fine.

I think that all of your choices sound fantastic! Especially Kona, yum! I've never tried Ohana's but I can tell you Kona is wonderful.

I have not been reading good things about 'Ohana's. If you do a quick search you might be able to find some of the more recent reviews.

I consistently read and hear good things about Le Cellier and Brown Derby. The dining reviews section of the dis boards is amazing!
