ADR question

i have a question regarding my ADRs for my upcoming vacation. We have a party of 6 and the only way to get into BOG dinner and Hollywood & Vine F! Lunch was to grab 2 reservations for a party of 4 & 2 at the same time. If we ask the hostest who checks us in if we can be seated together, what are the chances they will let us? I'm still trying for a ADR for 6, but as of now, this is what I have. Any thoughts?

There is a chance, if you all arrive at the podium together and tell them that you're willing to wait. Or they might sit you at adjoining tables.

Not sure it would work, but it may be worth a call to disney dining to see if they can combined the reservations into one

If there is a reservation for 6 available when you call (or you can check online), you can book the 6 and cancel the reservations for 4 and 2, but the phone reservation castmember cannot combine the 2 separate reservations into one because the reservations are booked for 2 separate tables - a 4 top and a 2 top.

To the OP: If you cannot find a reservation for 6, you can ask to be seated together when you check in at the restaurant. As much as possible the castmembers will try to accommodate you, but you may have to wait longer or you may be at adjacent tables or they may not be able to seat you together. Good luck.

WHen my DS and DDIl decided to join us I was able to change most ADR's but for a few I had to make new ones for them at roughly the same time. We were fortunate because the hostess was able to have us seated together, but each time I asked I was told that they would try, but it would been a little wait, if it was possible at all. WE were happy that we were able to be accomodated, butwere prepared to hae two different tables.

BOG is a busy place, but I know they will try.

We met some friends of ours at 1900 Park Fare and we both had separate reservations for each of our families. We asked them to sit us together. The request seemed to deeply confuse the hostess and caused (inexplicable) chaos (why is this such a difficult request?) This was also a night where most people were waiting an hour past their reservation time, so that might have had something to do with the problem, but when we finally got our table (an hour past reservation time), it seemed we were crammed together without enough space at our table. Again, that might have just been that particular restaurant on that particular night, but we decided we would think twice about asking if we could sit together with friends again.

Thanks for the help everyone! If I can't find a reservation for 6, we will just ask to sit together or close. We'll be there end of September, so hopefully it won't be too bad.
