ADR Question

We will be in Orlando during April Vacation week. My Dad gave us his time share at the Vistana and we did not want to turn him down. I really do not won't to go during the busiest time of year but we are going to try to relax and enjoy the nice Florida weather.

Finally my question. Do you need to be staying on property to make and an ADR?

No, you don't have to stay onsite to make a reservation. Since you'll be going when it's busy, I would definitely make them.

No, the only thing staying onsite does is give you the ability to make 10 days worth of ADR's at your 180 day mark. In your case, you just have to either a) wait til the 180 day mark of your LAST day then make all your ADR's, or b) call everyday and make that day's ADR's at 180 days.. That is if you want to pretty much be sure of getting the places you want. If it is important to you then you call at 7 am eastern of the 180 day mark.

OK That is great news. I was thinking of Chef Mickey's and maybe Kona Cafe. Nothing in the parks because I am not going to the parks if I can avoid it.

Thanks for responding. After I found out I could book ADR's without staying on property I did and got the following:

Cape may - Breakfast
OHana - Dinner
Rain Forest - Breakfast
Chef Mickeys - Dinner
Ragland Road - Dinner

Yeah me - I can not wait - Now I will obssess over the dining reviews in my spare time
