ADR question from newbie...

A couple of questions...

First, is there a calendar that I can use to determine when I can make my ADRs or can someone help me?

We are traveling December 28 - January 9th.

One of the questions I have is that I'm going to be off-site from the 28th until the 4th at a private rented house, and then on-site at Saratoga Springs from January 4th through the 9th. How does that change things? I'm so confused, lol. Any help would be appreciated?

Do we have any chance of reservations on New Years since we won't be on-site then??

There is an ADR calculator on the main site you can use to determine when to make your ADR's here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/pscalc/dispscalc.html

You can still make your reservations for the 28-4, but you'll have to have them linked to your phone number and not your reservation number. You might also have to call day by day as I don't think you can make reservations for the entire stay for the time you're off property. For the reservation for the 4-9 you should be able to make those all at once.

That's exactly what I was looking for...I get the general idea, but was afraid I'd miss by one day and loose some ADR's.

The only "penalty" you will have on the New Year's Eve reservation is that people staying onsite will have had the benefit of calling at 180 days out from the first day of their reservation and then being able to make the dining arraignments for their entire stay. Other than that, you have just as much of a chance as anyone else.

Yea, you will have to call every morning for the 180 day mark of the first part of your trip.........and as PP stated, the ADRs will be linked to your phone #.
