I have searched for these answers, but I come up with hundreds of threads and unfortunately I don't have time to scan through them all. I apologize for the questions that are probably repeated and would appreciate any help.

I am going to be in Disney for 2 days and would like to make a reservation at CRT and SciFi.

I know I can call on 4/1/09 for the CRT reservation I want on 6/30/09 and I know I can call on4/2/09 for the SciFi reservation I want on 7/1/09.

My questions are as follows:

Can I still reserve dining if I haven't made reservations to stay at a hotel? (I will be doing so, but plan on waiting a bit yet)

I read somewhere that you can start calling at 7am. Is that the Eastern time zone?

I know CRT has to be paid in full at the time of the reservation. What about SciFi? Do they just take a credit card number and charge you if you don't show up?

Last question - is the number the same to call no matter what restaurant you are trying to reserve? 407-WDW-DINE?

Thanks so much! There is just SOOOOO much information on this site that sometimes it is actually hard to find answers without spending hours searching.

Have fun!:thumbsup2

You can reserve even if you haven't made a reservation at the resort. In fact, you don't even have to be staying at Disney World to make a dining reservation.

It's 7:00 Eastern time.

You don't need anything for Sci-Fi other than your name, phone number and number in your party. No credit card for that one (Cinderella is one of the very few that does require a credit card). No charge for Sci-Fi if you don't show up (although it's nice to call and cancel and free up the time for someone else).

407-WDW- DINE is the number to call for all dining reservations.

Have fun!

Just wanted to thank you guys for the help. I was able to get a 10:05 breakfast reservation at Cinderella's Castle and 12:40 lunch reservation at SciFi on the days that I wanted.

I'm a little sleepy though from getting up at 5:45 the last two mornings to make calls!:surfweb:
