ADR- parking question

We are staying off site and have dined at BCR, FWF, Poly & Boardwalk, AKL. We have always been waived in. We had dinner at the GF and had to pay 12.00 valet parking. We will be going to the CG at the Contempory will we have to pay for valet parking?

You didn't HAVE to pay for the valet parking at the GF, I'm guessing. GF self-parking is across the road from the resort and it is free just like all the other resort self-parking.

So unless the self-parking was entirely filled and you were directed to the valet or something, you shouldn't have HAD to pay and valet park.

Contemporary will be the same. You CAN valet park and pay, or you can self-park for a limited time while you are dining.

I don't pay for valet, but I do get DH to drop us off and then park. He's my own personal valet at GF. We've never driven to the other two you mentioned, but it's not a bad walk at GF.

Should you self park the Contemporary parking lot is not a far walk to the Tower building.

Thanks for all the suggestions. My husband usually self parks and leaves me off at the hotel. I think I might have to be ready to pay for valet parking due to the holidays.

Vicki, I did have to pay 12.00 for valet parking at GF because guest parking was full. If we didn't pay we would have lost out ADR.

The self-parking at the Contemporary is not as long a walk as the self-parking at the Grand Floridian. That GF parking is quite a hike. It's almost worth the price for the valet.

Yes, that was my one thought from my other post - but I never actually heard anyone say that before.
