Hi All,

Just need a little encouragement here....

I need to make my ADR's, we are going on 2nd November for 2 weeks
I've been putting off making my ADR's for ages now... everytime I think about phoning I literally feel physicaly sick...:confused3 Now i've been reading threads on the retaurant board saying how hard it is to get ADR's for what you want, which has put me even more in a panic.

We do have certain restaurants we want to eat in, but none that we would be really upset if we couldn't get, and we don't mind what time we eat and on what day...

Feel like i'm going completly mad..

Just do it Tink :)

The CMs you talk to are really friendly and it's over very quickly :)

If you are flexible with the days and times you want to eat at certain restaurants you should get what you want :)

Don't worry!

Tim is quite right, and if you are a little flexible with the times I am sure yo willget exactly what you want

It's a little nerve wracking the first time you do it, but the CM are so lovely.

I was just like you, I was counting down and dreading the day as it came closer, was shaking like a leaf as I dialled and a wreck when it came to writing down the confirmation number but the CM was very patient with me and after I'd rang wondered what I'd made a fuss over!!! Then I had to do it again ordering the MNSSHP tickets and a couple of weeks ago when I booked my Wishes and Illuminations cruises, in a way that was worse as we are sharing with two other families and it was down to me to ring. Just go for it, after all they must be used to dealing with all sorts of accents/nationalities/nervous wrecks etc. Good luck.

as everyone else has said just be flexible and you should be fine :thumbsup2 good luck

I've never had problems getting what I wanted and that included Christmas Day and New Years Eve ADR's as long as your party isn't huge you should be fine, you may just need to be a bit flexible on time. I always ring two or three times to do mine just so I can hear them wish me a magical day :)

I did it, I was brave..... what have i been worrying about for the last few months!!!

Got everything we wanted, had to get Le Celiier Lunch (late though) rather than dinner but that is what I kind of expected as I had already read Le Cellier was booked up until end of December..

Woo Hoooooooo i'm so pleased:cool1:

Thanks for the encouragement:grouphug:

I even booked my DH & me a round the world Segway tour for his Birthday. May tell him they didn't have any avaliability and leave it as a suprise:woohoo:

Thanks again for the encouragement, I knew i'd get from the people on DIS:love:

Well done! Excellent news on getting what you wanted :thumbsup2

I know exactly what you've been concerned about. No matter how many times I've phoned (lots! ;) ), it doesn't get any easier. To be honest, sometimes it's an ordeal and not a 5 minute call, but I always get through it! :)

Well done on getting what you wanted. :thumbsup2

I'd be interested to know where you've booked, other than le Cellier.

Julie

I booked the following

Hollywood and Vine - Fantasmic
Hollywood Brown Derby
San Angel Inn
Teppan Edo (formally Teppanyaki)
Le Cellier
California Grill
Ohana
Coral Reef
:yay:

You've got some great choices there, Tink.

I have had some brilliant meals at Hollywood Brown Derby, Le Cellier, 'Ohana and Coral Reef :goodvibes

Sounds good. We've been to H&V, Le Cellier, California Grill and Ohana. Must give the others a try sometime.

Julie

Brillant choices there Tink:thumbsup2 Well done on getting what you wanted:goodvibes

Isn't it lovely to get what you want. I wasn't nervous before phoning for the adr's for our last trip but when I was dialing the number I did come over a bit nervous.
I got all the things I wanted and the CM's made me feel like my holiday to wdw was on the way all the faster!
Now you know you have all those lovely restaurants to look forward to.

I understand you, for me, as a first timer is really difficult to get everything working together, thinking about days, attractions, parks, meals for a whole family, rest or naps to keep everybody fine, special activities (2 weeks before Xmas) and just when you are getting nut assembling everything  you just read that you are possibly too late with your ADRs :scared1:
I hope the Disney Magic :wizard: will help us to manage to arrive to our holidays with our mental health relatively OK :upsidedow

Even though this will be my third time to Disney it's the first one i've actually planned ahead for. My first visit was as a teenager so Mum was in charge.
2nd time was Honeymoon, I had enough to plan with the wedding let alone the honeymoon as well. :scared: We eat at mainly CS that year.

This year it seems I have gone into planning overdrive:eek: , but I have to admit it has made me even more excited about it all.
