Would be interested to know if anyone has been able to get a BOG at 180+6 (or less) on the first day you are able to book ADRs (not afterwards by checking constantly or around the 45 cancellation date).

I have just over a week before I can make my ADR's. Usually I don't worry too much as we are fairly flexible if we don't get our first choice. However, we haven't been to BOG and would really like to try at some point during our trip - doesn't matter breakfast, lunch or dinner (assuming breakfast is extended). However, my guess is since we are only staying 6 nights we are 180+6 and not +10 that there probably will not be anything available when I log on first thing in the morning.

Advice - should I try for the last day of our trip for a BOG lunch (departure day so dinner won't be an option)? My first choice is actually the 4th day of our trip and happens to be Christmas eve - so I'm guessing I shouldn't even waste my time. I'm guessing I would have a better shot waiting for the potential breakfast extension or around the 45 day cancellation mark.

Basically - with a 180+6 do I even try for BOG first or get the other reservations I want and come back to see about BOG.

I was able to get one at 180 + 6 at 10:55 am in mid-November. Pretty much it. I've only seen one other opening since then at 9 pm - too late for dinner with a toddler.

I got my BOG dinner at 180+7, which is my last MK day. I didn't really look any sooner because I didn't think it would be available, and by the time I did look for sooner, there was nothing left. I'm going Nov 10-18. You might have better luck if you're looking for lunch. My dinner night is a MVMCP night so dinner ADRs were limited. Good luck!! Hope you can snag one!! :)

Try to get it if it's a priority for you. You're paying for a chance to snag early ADRs so use it. Worse case scenario and it's unavailable you wasted maybe 10 seconds changing the dates on the BOG site and hitting find. Best case, you get it and you don't have to stalk the BOG site for months on end.

I'd start with the last date if it were me. Like you said, I'm guessing Christmas Eve will be very slim pickings. Also use multiple browser windows if you're really worried about wasting time.

Start with the last day if you can. When I booked at 180+10, I had no problem getting an early dinner BOG on our MVMCP night, but it was on our 8th day... not much was available for dinner the nights before that, so I was lucky that my trip is longer this year (tried a everyday to get dinner on a 6 night stay last year with no luck). There were a lot more bog lunch availabilities.. we were able to snag one for our 2nd day. There were openings for lunch each day of my 10 days, even our arrival... Won't be at Mk that day but I was just curious to see how lunch adr availablity was compared to dinner adrs. Good luck and don't give up and keep checking if you can't find anything on our 180 day mark!

I got a 180 + 5 for BOG dinner this morning. It was the first thing I went for when my dates opened up at 6 am. I have the added benefit (as far as ADRs are concerned) of not going during a free dining time. That might make things more challenging for you since free dining starts up again for people checking in Dec. 15th and later.

Oh and yes, I'd go ahead and try for that first even if you think it's a long shot. It only takes a few seconds to search, and then you can move on to something else. If you have access to a second computer, you could have your second selection already loaded up on that. That's what I did this morning--I had my laptop and hubby's laptop both loaded with my top 2 choices and ready to go before 6. It might have been overkill, but I did end up getting everything I wanted so I'm glad I was able to use 2 at once.

Brother got BOG dinner at 180+4 on last family trip. But that was mid-April, not Christmas time which is the busiest period of the year. I would certainly look for BOG first. Or like previous poster said, if it's that important, have someone else on different computer get some of your other ADRs while you check out BOG.

I was not able to get BOB dinner at 180 + 6 in October. I did get lunch and I am still trying for dinner.
Good Luck

Thanks everyone for the feedback. In all honesty - if we can get at least one meal there during our trip we will feel lucky! If we get dinner on Christmas Eve - that will feel like a basket full of pixie dust… Your posts have given me some hope

I just got a BOG lunch reservation for December this morning at 6am (the opening of my window). It even had 2 choices for the time available.

My family will be going to Disney from Dec 18th to the 23rd. We have tickets to the MVMCP on the 18th and we are looking to go back to MK on the 21st. The first day we can make reservations is Sunday and I would love to be able to eat at BOG one day, and CRT the other day. Unfortunately, I just don't see us landing a dinner at either one of those for the 18th since that is the first day of our trip.

My plan now is to try and land a reservation on the 21st (probably lunch @ CRT) first because I don't think there is any chance at landing a dinner on the 18th for either BOG or CRT. Then, just keep checking to see if anything opens up on the 18th or use one of those reservation finding websites. Any advice? What would you guys do?

When I was booking my ADR's for my early Nov trip, I saw CRT available for a few times when I was making some searches first thing in the morning.....you might be able to find something for CRT. I would try for BOG for the 21st, then CRT for the 18th. It only takes a few seconds, especially if you can work 2 computers. I was sad to pass up CRT when making my ADR's, but it's just me and my hubby, and he's uncomfortable around face characters, so CRT is out for us :-(

BOG was the first one I reserved. I got dinner at 8pm for our last night and we are also staying 6 nights :)

Got BOG lunch for 180 +6. This was in mid-May, and as I recall we started with 180 + 2 and checked forward until an opening popped up.

I got a BOG lunch at 180+3 for October - havent had any luck since, and since I rearranged park days I may have to give this up. wahhhh! ;)

So both laptops were able to be logged into the same account to make the reservations at the same time?

Yes, you can log into the same account from multiple computers/devices. I had both logged in, and I'd put in the request on one, then during the several seconds that it was searching I'd put in the next request on the other one. The site happened to be searching/loading/whatever quickly, so I just went back and forth between the 2 computers and had everything I wanted within about 20 minutes.
