I called a few days before my ADR date to get my US reservation number (as booked via disneyworld.co.uk), having read so many horror stories online. I had to speak to 4 different people before anyone knew what i meant, spending over an hour on the phone.

Finally got the number, though the advisor told me my adresss was wrong on the system. For some reason it was showing a US address. She corrected this.

Called on ADR day, only to be told they cannot search with the reservation number, they need the name and address. Gave this to be told there was no record of me.

I thought it might me the advisor, so hung up and tried again. 2nd advisor again told me he couldnt find me with name and address. I offered my reservation number though he was adament it would be no good and wouldnt take it.

3rd person asked for my postcode. I advised it was a UK postcode which she said was fine. She mumbled to herself for 10mins then said "is this UK postcode, we dont accept those" I hung up before I insulted her.

4th person agreed to take my reservation number :woohoo: only to come back and tell me the address was wrong!!!!! he placed me on hold to speak to a supervisor, though I was cut off after 20mins :scared1:

Called yet again. This lady asked me for my reservation which I gave. She said the address was wrong, though asked other questions to confirm the booking then changed the address so I could make my ADR :worship:

At this point I was both mad and relieved. I was mad no one else had been able to help me and worried I would not get my ressies, though relieved I might be getting something!

To my suprise I managed to get ALL the reservations I wanted, at the times I wanted, on the days I wanted! (even Le Cellier):banana::banana:

Im happy its all sorted (though I have to call back for the last 4 days) though feel a little let down by Disney. Ive always experienced excellent customer care in the past when making ressies, though this was appauling. Its like half the staff havent been trained how to use the system.

Sorry for the long post.

I'm having the same problem, so i feel your pain :( When I tried to book my adr's they told me that the address they had was for somewhere in Tennessee??? Anyhow got my adr's booked after a total of around 5 or 6 hours on the phone,,, its a very very long story so won't go into it all now.

Anyway I thought it was all sorted, but with the advent of the online booking system, and hearing that others had managed to pull up their ressies online, I tried to access mine. But like so many others it wouldn't accept my phone number no matter which way i entered it.

So I called Disney last night, the first guy thought I wanted to cancel my holiday ARRGGHH then he put me through to someone else who said..... your address is in Tennessee,,,, after going through the whole rigmarole again she said she had changed my address now to my correct one. I asked her if she could link my adr reservations to my phone number so I could access them online, but she said online booking was totally seperate to phone booking so there was no way I would be able to access them online??? Hmmmm funny how others have managed to do it.

So i hung up, but now i have a horrible feeling that my adr's might be messed up because they are linked to the Tennessee address and not mine IYKWIM?

I want to call up again to check that they are still there, but I'm just sooo fed up with dealing with CM's who make me feel like I am wasting their time, I just haven't got it in me to call just yet. Maybe I will feel brave enough tomorrow lol.

I managed to make reservations on the 1st call but it took her almost 20 mins to find our booking. She tried name, address, UK reservation #, Post code every way possible and then said there is only one other way look at our resort and who is checking in on 6th August. Eventually she found us. I am sure many CM's would have given up, thankfully she didn't.
Their system is a complete nightmare. Now I want to go online and check my hotel booking & dining reservations but I can't, the system doesn't like the phone number I am entering. No idea whay they can't just use reservation # and Surname instead of phone#.

i had no problems calling on wednesday, they took my name, resort and check in date and found my booking and i'm booked with disney uk

We had the same issue too-strange address on our booking; fortunately they accepted reservation number.

Yes, DH used it yesterday to book Rain Forest Cafe at DTD for August. I'd already booked ADRs by phone a couple of weeks ao but didn't realise this on was bookable.

I guess that ADRs are linked to phone numbers to cover people who are not staying on site or on the dining plan :)

It looks like it depends on who you get. Every phone call I have made has been painless (hopefully not speaking to soon) and they have NEVER asked for a reservation number - I just tell them that I am booked with Virgin - give them my name, resort and the daters and procede to book my ADR's.

It is a shame that other people's attempts are not as easy as I have found mine to be.:sad1:
