HELP!
We have booked Sci-Fi Dine-in for dinner the day we plan to spend at Hollywood studios . After reading some posts..I think we may look for a better option for a sit down dinner.

Well, that would be a problem, seeing Sci-Fi isn't in Epcot! LOL :)

Le Cellier is the best table service in Epcot. You will not regret it!

OOOOOPS! My Bad....:rotfl:

I meant in Hollywood Studio's.

As for Le Cellier..booked Solid the whole time we are there!!!!

Any advice on TS in Hollywood studio's???

I would keep your Sci-Fi reservation.... We really enjoy it there. The food is not fancy but it is good. Service is always good and the place is really cool. It is worth the experience of going once. We have gone three times and plan to go again. :thumbsup2

As for Epcot... there are so many places to eat that are good... Hard to say without any specific questions about the places.

Another place in HS... 50s Prime Time :thumbsup2 Fun and good food. I will still choose Sci-Fi but 50s is good too!

IF you want a break from HS, you could always take the boat to one of the Epcot resorts, eat, then take the boat back to HS.

You're looking at:

Spoodles
ESPN
Cape May
Flying Fish
Yachtsman Steakhouse
bluezoo
etc. etc. etc.

I am not a fan of the Sci-Fi Dine In - I honestly think the food is overpriced and not very good. But I will agree, the service was great when I went.

I would definitely get an ADR for 50s Prime Time instead, because it's really fun and has really good food, if you like that "homecooked meal" feel... OH and the Smores are heavenly!

Sorry about Le Cellier! :(

My Husband is a meat and potatoes type of guy....He could suck it up and eat a burger if the atmosphere at Sci-Fi is fun for our 7 year old son!

We have eaten at Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time, and Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic package). Honestly, the only one we are planning on doing again is Sci Fi. The Artichoke dip is DELICIOUS and it was nice to get a chicken sandwich. DF really enjoyed his burger. The shakes/desserts are yummy too.

50's prime time we didn't care for. The food was really greasy and the place was really dirty (I could see dust built up on the window ledges).

H&V was just gross. I think we made mistakes on almost every buffet we've booked.

We go to Sci Fi every trip. My DS loves it! The food is not gourmet but we stick with the basic burgers/sandwiches and milkshakes. We have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It just all depends on what kind of meal you are looking for.

:lmao: I had the same thing... the artichoke dip, chicken sandwich and vanilla shake... I loved it all!

Cheesy sci-fi flicks + burger + milk shake = lots of fun..

We really like Mama Melrose's. Great pizza and pasta. Low key atmosphere. Not fancy. You are still in HS. Our last two experiences in Sci Fi weren't great, but if you do go, stick with a burger and a shake, and check out the menu on allears to be sure when you can get that! Have a great time!

We do Sci Fi every trip too! The atmosphere is awesome! We also do Mama Melrose. We've stopped doing 50's, we don't like H&V and I have to yet to find something on HBD's menu that we'll eat. But that's just us! ;)

Not a fan of Mama Melrose... we have been twice... service is good and atmosphere is nice... but the food is not good, Italian... we are Italians from NY and I cook Italian so we are a bit picky (we don't do Olive Garden)... but we really did not like the food at all... sauce was dark brown, chicken was like rubber and all food was very oily and had too many spices. We did not like it the first time, but we decided to give it another chance to do the Fantasmic Dinner Package... we still did not like the food but we did like doing the package.

We liked the H&V breakfast with Playhouse Disney... average selection of tasty food, fun atmosphere, very good service... have not done dinner because we have seen the menu and it does not seem like food we would want.

Sci fi was our first sit down meal at WDW and has been a tradition for us ever since. The atmosphere is great, service quick and friendly, food good not great but hey who cares! You get to eat in a car, watch crazy film clips and feel like you're outside inside.

My one bit of advice - it's always chuffing freezing in there so take a jacket!

We had fun. Only ate the shakes and burgers as recommended.

Wish the movie loop was longer, though.
