Hi all! Long-time lurker here but this new system has made me seek help from those who know best!

We are staying on-site and today is the 180 days plus 10 mark but the system online does not let me select dates beyond the arrival date. I have tried phoning the UK and USA helpline but the offices are closed.

Is anyone else having problems? Am trying to the get the BoG reservation asap!

You can book when 180 days out, but you can book for the first ten days of your holiday, not at 190 days out...

Hi Andy

I thought I was at 180 days already. Our arrival date is 22 October and the on-line calculators say today is the day. We want a reservation for 29 October.
Does this mean I am too early?
 
OK, you should be able to book now. are you signed in on MDE? Should have been available from 11:00

Hi, yes, am signed in on MDE. I now currently on hold to US dining helpline also!
Thanks for confirming I should be ok to book all now, was doubting myself. Hopefully Disney can sort the problem and book over the phone.
 
The online system does seem to have some glitches, but we were very lucky to be able to do all we wanted on line - except the F! dining package, but this was done on the phone fine.
 
is your Disney hotel reservation showing on MDE ?

Hi Tony, yes it is.
I got through to the helpline in the end and they booked most of my reservations apart from Boma and Fantasmic package with Hollywood Brown Derby as there was an issue with the system loading these up. They asked me to call back for these. Definately a glitch in the system I think.
 
I think there is definitely an issue with MDE as I was unable to make ADRs for 10/22 yesterday even though it was definitely 180 days out. We are staying at the Swan at the beginning of our trip so can only make ADRs day by day. We want BOG for 10/24 so I am probably going to have to wait to call at 7am - hope I will still have a chance.
 
We had a similar problem back in February when I thought everything was set up (MDE registered, credit card details entered) but couldn't book the +10 days on-line.

When I rang Disney, I managed to get all our choices (including BoG) and near enough the times we wanted.

However, from another forum, someone else with a similar problem had called Disney and it seemed that the problem was that they had registered their MDE account in one name, but their name was different on the booking. In my case, my MDE login uses Tony, but the booking details use Anthony.

Not much use to yourself now, but hopefully could be of use to others in the future.
